I was there this morning and ordered a breakfast plate. Everything was semi cold. The eggs tasted like the powdered type. I was so disappointed I asked for a refund. The old guy at the cash was not happy. I've had their breakfast sandwiches and they were pretty good. Their salads are great. Overall meh experience today though.

Beware, The restaurant smells like rotten eggs sometimes. I told the cashier yesterday about the smell and she said that they are not using any detergents to clean up the floors because someone nearby is sensitive to detergents. I wonder how they clean up the dishes!! . I also told the restaurant owner today but he was in denial and unfortunately became sarcastic.

I loved this place. But the weighing scales are incredibly inconsistent and not accurate!! I used to go here almost everyday, but was charged $10 for 4 breakfast sausages. I respect and like everyone who works here, but, after being overcharged $9.91 for 4 breakfast sausages (which weighed 0.125) I will not be going again! This is because I have been charged inconsistent prices for everything that’s weighed.

Boring and expensive! Unhappy staff. Used to serve bun with soup. No longer. Out of crackers, blaming on supplier. Perhaps you should go back to good crackers, not the cheap imitations. You buy muffins at Costco and sell them for 3 times the price! They sell crackers as well!25 cents for a 2 cent cheap lollipop!Good thing there are real restaurants on Preston cause most of the people working at Preston Square no longer go to Marcellos. Sell burgers on bbq on your patio, hot dogs etc. They make money by charging well over $2 per 100g of reheated frozen fare.How do you close at 130 or 2 pm daily and complain about low sales! Let someone who cares and wants to invest time in the business take over…The food service industry is not a 6 to 2 job.

So ++ pleased with the cleaning. VERY CLEAN! Love the buffet/salad bar. I walk 5KM daily to have my fav salad. Totally worth the walk. Fairly priced, great food. Very aware ownership and staff...definite pride in ownership here. Best to go right at lunch for best product like all buffets.
