I was just there for lunch and I ask the person at the cash if I don't want to drink is there a difference in the price.
HE said no we can't do that so he never took my name.
I got my food about 15 minutes later.
Went to my car to eat it the bread with a bit stale.
And the fries,were also very hard.
I come here from, center town but never again..

Wow, I wish we had these corn beef sandwiches in Nova Scotia. Fantastic portion huge good value for your dollar thank you very much. Great job and quick delivery. I’ll be ordering again when I come back in Christmas time corn beef sandwich is fantastic.

The go to smoked meat shop in Ottawa. Come early as it gets very busy which is testimony to their smoked meat sandwiches. Just like having Montreal in Ottawa. Well worth a visit.

The Smoked Meat lunch special is a great deal that includes real fries, a 591 ml soft drink bottle and a real pickle. The smoked meat is heavily piled on in the rye bread. So nice not to be nickled and dimed in Ottawa also known as Fat Cat City.

Markie’s Montreal Smoked Meat is an absolutely awesome spot that's big on flavor. While the place itself is small, the sandwiches are stacked high and totally worth it. I highly recommend sticking with the basics here and letting the delicious, high-quality meat shine.

The bread is also excellent, and for those with dietary needs, it's great to know they have gluten-free options available. If you're a true fan, you can even buy a whole slab of their smoked meat to take home, which is a fantastic option.

Beyond the food, the staff are really nice, and there's plenty of parking in the area, making it an easy and enjoyable visit. We would definitely recommend Markie's to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Montreal smoked meat experience.

I was just there for lunch, I had the lunch special which is a smoking sandwich fry and pickle and a drink.
Sandwich was very good, coming from Montreal I know good smoke meat.
I was very impressed with the Fry's, they were delicious 😋

Parking: The young lady that served me was very polite and very friendly 😊.

A good Montreal-style smoked meat… and, with really good french fries. The only problem with this place is that they are a victim of their success! Ordered online at 5:10 for a 5:55 pick-up, and still waited 30 mins. The customers were streaming in, so were online orders and the pick-ups by delivery services. Customers were left standing around the restaurants waiting and growing frustrated, and for alll the action behind the counter orders did not appear to be moving. They need to figure that out, and their parking situation is nuts! But, food wise, it’s good stuff!
