The server mixed up one of our orders, and the dish came late. The manager came to us to apologize for the mistake, and they didn't charge the dish as a courtesy. They were very polite and we had a great time.

We had the prix fix menu and it was really good - tuna appetizer, burger and pasta and a lovely gelato for dessert!

We had a yummy dinner at Mati on the patio. We shared the seafood tower, the kale salad and the Brussels sprouts and it was very good. I will be back!

As always, the food was impeccable. Service was great and ambiance was lively. I really enjoy everything about Mati except for the noise level. It's such a wonderful location and it's cozy and sexy, I just wish it wasn't so loud. My husband ordered a porto and she brought him a cocktail because she misunderstood him due to the noise level. I ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni and it was perfection. The spice was just right. So yummy. My husband ordered the lobster linguine and it did not disappoint. He said it was the freshest lobster he's eaten in Ottawa (and he had consumed many a lobster in Ottawa) Cocktails and wine selection are amazing. Overall, it's not a place to go to have deep conversation over dinner BUT everything else is 100% on point.

The food was amazing, most of the table took the same meals, I'll add a picture. Our server was really nice as well, checked up on us and made sure everything was fine. There were very little people, no music that we heard so not much of an ambiance all in all but a beautiful place.
