They are the best donuts I've had. Stacy has a great team of decorators that made us a custom tower of donuts for a birthday party. They got the colours and design just perfect. If you're planning an event or a party they are a crowd pleaser.

I ordered online on 12/1/2023. The email indicates Your order will be ready for pickup. Tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Maverick's Donuts - Byward Market 46a Byward Market Square I called this BY ward morning at least 6 times between 10 and 12 on Dece 12 as I was going to be late. No pick up. My husband went around 1 to pick today, ,Saturday December 2, and says the guy at Byward refuses to hand over my order, saying he "did not receive any money" and my problem is with head office. Head office calls go unanswered as their voice mail is not initialized, I want my money back. SCAM!!!!!!

One of the best doughnuts I have tried so far in ottawa. Got a pack of six, price wise more expensive than KrispyKreme but I will say it’s worth it as we don’t have that my good stores dedicated only for doughnuts. I will say give it a try , you will like it for sure with a warm cup of coffee to finish off your day.

got a lemon ricotta donut. was a bit smaller than expected, but the texture of the donut itself was really good. not too chewy, perfectly fried, nice and soft inside. I just wish the lemon flavor was stronger and the ricotta-ness of it all felt a bit absent. not much to say about service or ambiance since I just got one donut to go!

I placed an order Sunday night to help support my niece's cheer team. Pickup options started as early as Tuesday at 8 am, so I picked that time. My husband and I selected 4 special donuts: oreo nirvana, boston creme, maple bacon, and lemon ricotta. Pickup was straightforward--the location had plenty of parking at 8 am, and I popped in, gave them my name from the order, and was shortly on my way home with the donuts! The donuts were pretty good but not particularly spectacular. Oreo Nirvana: The cake had a great texture, but it didn't taste as chocolatey as I had expected. Still an enjoyable choice. Boston Creme: My husband said it was good, so I'll take his word!Maple Bacon: My absolute favourite. The balance of maple flavour and bacon was perfect--the flavours harmonized wonderfully, instead of competing. Lemon Ricotta: My husband rated it a 7/10 but noted that the ricotta was a little wet and that he wished the lemon flavour had more punch. Overall, it was a good experience. I would happily support another fundraising event with Maverick's Donuts, though I might otherwise look elsewhere for satiating my personal donut cravings.
What a find while visiting Ottawa! Honey glazed cake donut was life changing, went back for a second. Also tried the 'pumpkin' glazed, not much of a pumpkin person normally but this was decent.

Love these cake donuts! We’ve even tried buying extra and freezing them. Once they unfreeze, they are still delicious! We also really like the specialty fun donuts they put out at certain holidays. Looking forward to Halloween donuts :)
