I’m so happy I found Maya’s BBQ!!! I ordered a few platters for a teacher event and everything was amazing. The beef kafta, chicken skewers, the salad, rice, and fries were so good. The falafels were a hit! The portions were very generous- overall, delicious. Even the food was packaged perfectly. I wish I took pictures but, trust me, everything looked great! The guests were so impressed- they took seconds and some even took food to go. Thank you Joumana (sorry for the spelling), you were so kind and helpful during the whole process. I appreciate it :) I can’t wait to use Maya’s BBQ again for more events! Highly recommended!
We were pleasantly surprised about the food here - tasty and excellent portion sizes. We ordered the mixed grill which was delicious! Ali gave us an extra skewer- what a kind gesture!We will be back.

Most definitely a hidden gem in Ottawa. I consider myself lucky that I came across this place as it’s located in a small grocery store. They have delicious food, generous potions and fair pricing. My family and I always get the family platter which comes with 10 skewers of kabob of your choice, rice, fries and salad. The best part is the meat because it’s grilled to perfection. I also really enjoy their salad because it actually has flavour and is chopped properly compared to other kebab places in the area. Some of the downfalls is they serve too much rice, there’s no where to sit down and not very many people know about it. I think if they they opened a separate location just for mayas bbq it would definitely be a success!

WOW! Best kebabs I’ve had in Ottawa. We got #56, and it did not disappoint. Friendly and fast service, delicious food, and great value. I’m sad I didn’t discover Maya’s BBQ earlier.

They sell both raw and cooked meats and dishes. They also have one of the best seasoned halal shish taouk chicken pieces you can buy ready to grill at home. Frozen burgers were also great!
