so i am verry mad so i took my son to grt food and they took my oder but when i went to pay for the food with rolled nickles thry told me sorry we dont take thst i was like are you for real ur gonna not twke candain change my son was verry upset so the manger of this place needs to do better cuz this was verry sad my son was upset and also they weere verry rude so dont ever go there with change cuz they will tell u they dont twke it makes me sooo bad but what really up sets me its i seen them take change not rolled but when u roll the chsnge its nope we dont twke it they need to hirre better people to mange this store verry poor service as welll

WORST MCDONALDS IN OTTAWA, STAY AWAY. Garbage employees. THIS MCDONALDS ACTUALLY TRIES TO SCAM CUSTOMERS!!! DO NOT GO! The employees are lazy. Imagine working at McDonald's
Two occasions now the employees try to scam customers. I went to this location a few months ago and tried to order a combo, they claimed they cannot sell me the combo unless I buy a 3$ key chain, she claimed she cannot type the combo into the register without adding a 3$ key chain, how is this my problem?? The business should Sell me the combo no questions asked. Canceled my order and went to another location.
Today I wanted to try them again, only for them to try to scam me AGAIN! I placed an order through my app using points, and they still tried to charge me. I don't care what the charge was, they STILL TRIED TO FORCE ME TO PAY FOR A FREE MEAL.
Horrible staff, they dont care about anyone but themselves, dont say good morning or hello. Youre greeted by someone who hates their lives and treats you like crap. Horrible mcdonalds. Corporate has been messaged also. Staff is trash
Edit: i changed my whole route to work and added 10 minutes to my commute just to avoid this horrible mcdonalds and its horrible, condescending staff. Walkley location has alot more friendly employees.

Instead of arguing with a customer take the time to listen to what they ordered…I Ordered a 5$ Mc value meal with a large fry. And wanted to charge me well over regular price all because she added a medium drink because she felt like it Tried explaining myself three times I wanted a large fry only and regular small drink she proceeded to tell me it’s the system not her and gave a smug attitude Guess what sweetheart that’s the second night in a row you try to over charge me time to go back to the training wheels clearly quite pathetic watching her thinking she’s right with that type of attitude again pathetic…. Take the drive and go to another Mc Donald’s guys this place sucks Also asked for seperate orders and looks like I got stuck paying for everyone’s food just wow guys…..management must suck if there allowing all this to keep happening on a regular basis

Most pathetic trained staff at this mcdonald's. They gave me a wrong order(beef instead of veggies at drive thru) and when I went in to let them know so they could fix it, the staff just smirked saying they will change it. No sorry nothing. Then as she took it back in the kitchen I see them just laugh off the mistake. Do we as customers don't even deserve the basic decency of how they manage a mistake done by them. Terrible.

The absolute worst McDonald's in Ottawa. Management is incompetent unresponsive and incredibly slow. The managers specifically don't care about anything or anyone. Bottom of the barrel hires.

DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS! We have been to many McDonald’s and today the service and food quality at this one was very much lacking. The gentleman was very confusing when he took our order and I had to clarify that he got it right. My husband and I asked for mayo and they only gave us three packets even though there are two of us in the car, so not enough mayo. My husband’s drink wasn’t filled to the top and tasted more like water than soda. My burger was poorly put together and they forgot the pickle shaker mix in my grinch meal for my fries. I would understand if you ran out of shaker mix but then at least tell me that you ran out. We are a big fan of McDonald’s usually, but today was a disappointment. Then we came back two days later because we were at the mall and thought we’d give it another chance. It’s 7:45pm and the lady at the intercom told me they were closed which doesn’t make any sense because the McDonald’s is open 24 hours a day. Then people in the drive-through weren’t leaving so my husband and I were stuck in the drive-through and couldn’t leave, but we also couldn’t order anything.
