me and a few family members came here for lunch, and me and my grandpa ended up with diarrhea and vomiting that lasted 3 whole days, both the night of. we have no food allergies. me and my grandpa were the only ones to order dishes containing beef so we believe their beef had gone bad and had been served to us anyways causing us food poisoning. we had been here multiple times in the past and this is the first time this has happened, i urgently suggest you avoid this place until it gets inspected.

Tried Mexicali Rosas and it was a letdown. The ground beef was bland, and the jalapeños tasted old, almost moldy. The chicken nachos were the worst part: they were burnt, had barely any toppings or chicken, and the portion was tiny. Definitely not worth the money. Won’t be going back.

One of the best restaurants I’ve attended, the staff are highly overworked and need immediate raises they’re almost family to each other the way they flow and get the most efficient service for everyone, as for the food, it’s an absolute blessing in disguise, I’m not local ,but ,when I’m here I’m probably at mexis

Nachos on point and perfectly layered, hate going to places where it’s a pile of chips at the bottom with nothing on them. Breana was super friendly and everything came out so quick. Def recommend for a quick lunch.

I had the burrito which was “ok”. It was nothing special. My friend had the fish tacos which she seemed to enjoy. If I was to go back I would probably try them but all in all, it was “ok” at best. I don’t imagine I would go back. There is another, much better, TexMex restaurant in Orleans I would pick over this one.
