We went to Bite Burger House on a whim after our plans for the evening changed. It was delicious! There are endless choices for burgers, something for everyone. We had truffle fries, poutine and Mac & cheese on the side - everything was amazing. The waitress made me an off menu cocktail with blueberries and it was 10/10 I wish I had the recipe. If we’re ever downtown Ottawa again we will visit Bite again!

We sat on the patio which was lovely. The service was great and the burgers and fish taco was excellent too. This was our second time there and still great!

We first came here 3 1/2 years ago and thought they were the best burgers we had ever had. Coming back we were uncertain if we had just overreacted because we were so hungry at the time. Thankfully, they still have amazing burgers! Juicy, flavourful, amazing topping combinations and freshly made. The truffle fries and fish and chips were also highly regarded. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Ottawa.

Went with my spouse and a friend. Great selection of beer. Burgers were yummy. Chicken special burger was very meaty and tasty. Companions reported that beef burgers were very good. Fries were well prepared. Salad was good. Service was prompt and friendly. No complaints. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends.

Due to Covid it’s been over two years since our last visit . The burgers here are outstanding: 8 oz, in-house ground chuck, medium rare, perfect meat to bun ratio, blues cheese, superior fries, ice cold draft and friendly staff and service. Chez Lucien still does a killer burger but Bite is a tad tastier. In Ontario unless you grind your own beef it’s against the law to serve a burger medium rare which is why Bite is world class and as tasty as any burger I had in Europe or the USA. They recently reopened for lunch on Friday and they have a lovely patio. Top drawer !

What a dinner we had here! This place was absolutely great; from the service, to the food, to the drinks! My husband ordered the Nana's fav burger with a side of Mac N Cheese...with crispy chicken on top! He could not stop raving about it and it was definitely one of the best things he tasted on our trip. Speaking of things tasting great- their homemade ketchup was insane! Truly made your fries taste even better. I had the fish with a side salad and really enjoyed my meal as well. The salad was very good and the fish not too greasy. Because it was "potato flaked" I think it really helped to give the breading a nice thin and crunchy taste. Our 14 month old son loved the place too. He had a burger and fries. (We ate the fries!) He loved his burger with cheese and tomato on top. They were super accomodating with bringing his meal first and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The beer on tap was great as well. Their own 'bute lager' on tap was probably the best of the night, and we also tried some other local brews that were very good. Such a great selection of beer from Ontario. All of the staff working were friendly, and they even chanced me down when I forgot my phone in the bathroom. When we visit Ottawa again, we will be back!

During Covid we called ahead & they personally brought the meal out to our parked car. We had a delicious car picnic a few times. We had fun in the cold months. I'm thrilled they survived .

Tried the popular Mac and cheese.Did not measure up to my expectation.My daughter makes way better Mac and Cheese than the one I ate.Didn't even eat the whole thing.More like two different cheeses in that order.Wasn't 5 blend can tell you that much!More like Alfredo sauce with Parma cheese sprinkled on top.That's what it tasted like to me.

Absolutely nothing special about the burgers, the macaroni and cheese nor the dull tasteless fries and poutine, you can get the same food at another burger joint for less with much better fries. I was expecting something a little more special in taste for the price (maybe even one or two pieces of crisp lettuce or even crazier maybe two slices of tomato or pickle on the burger).

OMD! I JUST got my order from Kanata (They are ghost kitchening in the Milano Pizzeria!), Pulled pork mac and cheese, tater tots, donuts, and iced cream, and I have to say it is AMAZING! The service was fast, courteous and the food is THE BEST! Perfectly cooked original, and just craving satisfying! I want to try their entire menu!
