Service was a bit slow due to the number of guests there, but this was only a Wednesday at 5:30pm. The food was fine/okay. Overpriced for quality. It was my birthday and they gave me a dessert on the house, which was very nice.

In no particular order; the restaurant was freezing which made it hard to enjoy the food. I kept my puffy vest on to stay warm. The ribs my husband had were good w regards to taste but gummy in texture and he had stomach cramps as a result. I had the portobello mushroom chicken which tasted normal but I also ended up with stomach issues as a result. The service was great and attentive.

I was looking forward to our dinner reservation, however, upon receiving the main course, I was surprised at the presentation. It did not seem very well prepared and lacked the expected flavour. Penne noodles were way too large and the sauce very skimpy and lacking the pesto flavour I was expecting. We also ordered a beet salad that was mediocre at best. When I spend over $120 on a meal for two, I expect reasonable and well prepared portions. I also find the wine overpriced. My wife's green curry was merely OK, nothing to get excited about. I will not be recommending this restaurant.

We have been to Milestones on several occasions and were looking forward to it yesterday. While the server was wonderful, the food was not up to par. We both ordered the steak frites. The steak was good but both of our fries were very hard and cold it was obvious that they were left sitting for some time either under a heating element or on a counter before they reached us. As such, we had to eat the steak without the fries and when the replacement fries came (about 20-25 minutes later), only one portion was brought to us. We left quite hungry and that was not good. I think that under such circumstances, there should have been some kind of compensation offered. For the price of the food, this should not happen. It was quite disappointing.

We love this Milestones. Attentive service and excellent food that you can depend on each and every visit. Plus, it is close to our home so very easy for us to access! A Thursday night proved to be less busy, so less noise.

6:30 reservation - things weee not smooth with our table from the outset. Seemed to be confusion where to be seated. Filet Mignon ordered as rare, came medium. Took too long to get food initially to send back. When paying that price for a good steak, expect it to be cooked as ordered. Chicken and ribs were ok.

A bit of a chaotic Saturday dinner. The restaurant recently reopened after a 6 week renovation. Front of house staff were friendly and the serving staff were very pleasant. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed and serving staff were trying to cope by covering for each other. I did get a sense of a team approach to the serving, albeit very impersonal. We were 6 guests and about half of our meals were really good and the other half were so-so. Apparently there were staff shortages in the kitchen as well. Given the delays, there was alot of client movement in the dining area; kids running around, adults going back and forth to the toilet, etc. The vide was more like a diner than a restaurant... not terrible, just not what we had expected or wanted. I will return in a few months when things hopefully settle down.
The renovated space looks amazing. The food is exactly what I expected fantastic. Had the pan seared Cod. The taste and the spice level was a perfect match. This dish will be ordered again.

We visited Milestone Restaurant (near IKEA) yesterday for their grand reopening after extensive remodeling, and it was absolutely worth it! The ambiance was beautiful — modern, cozy, and welcoming. We received wonderful service from start to finish.
The food was delicious, the bar was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Even the chef came out to ask us about our experience. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into the remodel and the guest experience.
Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t been since the reopening — it’s definitely a milestone worth celebrating! 🎉
