My dish was cold, and the chicken wasn't properly cooked. While they didn't charge me, which I appreciated, the experience was disappointing. On the bright side, the beer was good and my colleagues liked their burgers.
Purposely reserved a window seat overlooking the water which was perfect. But it was for a date night for two of us and there was a crowd of about 20 people sitting beside us that were ridiculously loud and to the point that one of them spilt their glass of wine. Not sure what the deal was there. Either way at the end of the day the date was a bust because would could barely hear each other speak without having to shout at one another. Definitely a thumbs down experience this time round.
Great pub and awesome staff, really cool vibe. We will be back soon with our friends. Ask for Millie - her service is top shelf.
I have been many times and will be going back again. The staff was great as is the setting. Love sitting in the bump out over the river. Food ranged from great to ok. Elk burger, Margherita pizza and beef dip burger were great. Fish and chips was ok, nothing special. The fries were not great. Having worked in several restaurants I suspect the fries sat under a heat lamp too long and were very dark making me think the oil needs to be changed. The place was packed and I understand how the kitchen can get a bit overwhelmed. I have had the fish and chips in the past and been 100% satisfied so I chock this one up to a busy kitchen.
It was exceptionally busy and loud. We were seated at a table beside a VERY LOUD group of women who were literally screaming at each other. It was at 12:30pm on a Tuesday so we weren't expecting a rowdy crowd. The service was slow because it was so busy but our waitress was very apologetic and she was working hard to stay on top of the demands. The food was pretty good! Surprised that Mill Street doesn't brew their own 0% beer. Only option was a Corona Sun brew. Couldn't find any mocktails on the menu either.
Service was fantastic +++. I have been away because Covid but I will be back for sure again this year. Well done
Wonderful Canadian hospitality. Excellent friendly and patient, service ( we brought an extra person and young child and had lots of separate bills in a large group) , good food and jovial ambience.
Great place, great food and even better beer. think their service had a bit of an off night. but then again, kinda hard to serve 80 people at once.
A bit of a disappointment - food was not to the quality I would have expected given the reputation of the establishment. Mediocre at best. I ordered fish and chips which one would expect a brew pub to be able to deliver - it was dry, overcooked and cold. Others had entrées that they ended up not eating all of it as was not cooked well and needed to grab a snack when he got back home. The Burgers were fine by all accounts and the beer was good. Overall a disappointment

Mill Street Brew Pub is a wallet-draining disappointment. Mediocre food at absurd prices, beers $3-4 pricier than anywhere else, and unrefrigerated ketchup bottles scream sketchy hygiene. Service is meh, vibe’s okay, but not enough to save this overrated spot. Skip it.

Great patio! We could use it even when it was raining a little bit. Although we got takeout as there was no service on the patio perse, and we didn't know it in advance but we managed somehow. Food is always good, nice basic beers locally made, and service is always great!

We come here often every summer for lunch. We usually ride our bikes and it is right off of the bike path and it is easy to watch your bike from the patio. The food and beer is really good and the patio is beautiful. The falafel dish is my favourite. The menu includes a section for dogs (see pic). It's a beautiful dog friendly patio and i can't wait to go back with my fur baby!

Great reception and escorting to our booth. Service was impeccable, with frequent checks and food ordered and served fast. Unfortunately there was no fish that day which is weird beyond words as I wanted to order a fish and chips. My guests were very happy with their hambergers and pizzas. I ws not happy with the hard chicken cooked tough that I could not finish. My french fries were horrid, soaked in oil and re heated tepifdly all untasty. Beer was excellent. The place was filled up to the rafters, tables are too close and it is too dark inside.
