I had reservations. Waiting was minimal. Service was excellent. It was very busy that evening. Food tasted. very good, but it was just warm-cool. One plate seemed like it wasn't an adequate serving, as usual.

Servers can make all the difference when dining out. Destiny, our server, was awesome, providing just the right amount of service without being underserved or intrusive. Destiny was friendly, welcoming and polite, she seemed to really enjoy her job. Best wishes Destiny!

Thursday afternoon a group of retired Nurses descended upon Montana's for lunch and some catching up. Our table was a great spot that accommodated some mobility issues and despite the frigid temperatures outside we were not cold. Our waiter for the meal was Santiago. Santiago was interactive, attentive and efficient. Four out of the 5 meals were excellent but I was told the burger seemed a bit over cooked. I have a feeling we will be back some time in the future. I might also add that since it was not busy at the time we were not rushed out after we had completed our meals.

I ordered a steak medium. It came medium rare. She offered to put it back on the grill for me but I declined because the steak was already a little tough and I didn't want it to be tougher. My friend had her steak well done and she had trouble chewing but - well done steak - I didn't expect any different. The gravy was way to salty and hard to eat. The server was great, she left us alone and let us talk, filling out drinks when needed. We did have to track her down at the end for the bill but she got very busy and we were there a long time. I would recommend this place just not the steak. We both had cheesecake for dessert and took some home.
