Moose McGuires has a basic menu. It's not the best and not the worst. The atmosphere is fairly casual. They have music jam on some weekend nights.

Service was snappy tonight. Or the server was snappy. Something like that. The men's washroom hasn't been out of order for months, another positive. The owner has always promised to clean the tap lines with every lunar eclipse. We were hoping, but he says it's not a full eclipse so it doesn't count. An employee was written up for cleaning on company time, that was fixed pretty quickly. So anytime things have improved here.

This is the worst bar I have ever been to in Ottawa. I watched them poor my drink into 3 different cups. The pitcher they gave us was all foam. They knew the beer was flat and still served it to us. They took back the beer and I watched them serve it to someone else. Absolute 0/10 for this place.

I had a special of Swedish meatballs served with dry Brussel sprouts and dry mashed potatoes my husband had what looked to be 3 time cooked french fries and hard piece of fish that he had to dip in gravy to make it a little softer. Do not eat here!

I ordered the barbecued bacon burger with poutine and both were very disappointing. I couldn’t even tell if the burger was beef or chicken? The colour of the patty looked more like chicken or turkey. Doesn’t taste the best, the only thing that was good about the burger was the bun. The bacon was overly cooked and dry. Seemed like a low quality frozen patty.The poutine sauce was very very bland, and the cheese felt like the pre packaged single cheeses they use at Burger King on their poutine. My partner had wings which were very overcooked but sauce was ok. Server was great! Place wasn’t busy at all at 5:30 pm on a Saturday

Went for a staff dinner of 6. I wasn't the only one at the table that wasn't pleased with the food or the service of the food. Getting drinks was great and the drinks were amazing. All the Sisco products were great - the pickles, the fries, ect.

We had christmas party there(9) of us. Good was ok. I had burgers, the fries were over cooked, and same as the rest of the my co workers.Size of their table was narrow, chairs dated as al the floor, decos is very outdated and seems everything is old. Man’s Washroom has only one urinal.Service was good. Our server was very attentive and professional.
Visited this evening. Decently busy, but manageable. Sign said “please wait to be seated.” Someone seated us, no one ever came back. Not sure if we were supposed to order from the bar. But there was no communication from the staff that sat us. Also, why have a “wait to be seated”sign if there is no table service.

Loved the venue setup, with dart boards in a large space for either movie or visiting bands, pool table, pin ball machines and many tv’s. Hope to visit again for other events. Only tried chicken wings but saw nice burgers with my group that I would try next time. Large table available to accommodate a big group of ppl. Kitchen staff overwhelmed by our orders.
