Wanted to enjoy this place a lot more than we did. The fish in the sashimi was disappointing, a lot of it was pretty watery and bland. The rice was overly seasoned and the rolls also had a lot more rice than we would want which overpowered to the rest of the ingredients. It also didn't come with fresh wasabi as I expected but the server was kind enough to let us try some. Maybe I'll try this place again but it was a let down with the price and when I've heard so many good things.

Went here with a small work group. Amazing sushi and great value for the price. For an appetizer we got gyoza, tempura and the chicken karaage which were all delicious as well.

Giving this place a low rating because due to the overwhelming amount of rice in the sushi compared to the small pieces of fish in it. We took of Soo much rice and that was only half the sushi. They have over 3 layers of rice. Too much rice not enough fish.

Nagi Aushi in Orleans is fantastic! The service was great from start to finish, and the food was amazing. The salmon was incredibly fresh, and the rice‑to‑protein proportion was perfect. Such a great spot for date nights—highly recommend!

The chef is from the C'est Japon À Suisha Restaurant (unfortunately permanently closed during COVID time). I was very happy to find this chef again since he is always my favourite sushi chef in Ottawa (not one of, he is the one!).
I would say the dishes are very authentic, ingredients are top level for sure. But most importantly, the chef is also very generous and has a passion to treat his guest well.
It would be my go to place if I want to treat myself or hang out with my close friends.
When someone puts their heart and soul into something, it shows. This place exudes quality and attention to detail. The owner and family should be proud! It's beautifully decorated with soft wood tones and thoughtfully laid out. I took my wife here for Valentine's. It's the best sushi I've ever had. Everything is so fresh tasting. Service is warm and welcoming. I came from Gatineau and I will make the drive again without hesitation. The price was absolutely worth the exceptional quality, service, ambiance, and experience. Take your family or go for a romantic evening there. You will not regret it!

By far, the best sushi in the Nation's Capital. Everything from the miso soup, the tempura shrimp to the nigiri and maki rolls was made with the freshest ingredients. Absolutely delicious. I will make the trek from Kanata to Orleans again and again.
