The food was good, but the smoke from the grilling was overwhelming so we couldn’t enjoy the experience. My eyes were burning the whole time and I still smell like grilled food even after hours. The restaurant definitely needs to improve its ventilation system. Definitely not coming back!

Honestly this was place was delicious!!! My friend and I tried to visit this place last weekend and made the mistake of not making a reservation so unfortunately didn’t get to eat there on Saturday night. But we were looking forward to it so much we decided to try again the next weekend and this time got a reservation at the bar on Friday night. So make sure to make a reservation if you are visiting on a Friday or Saturday night!

But boy oh boy was this place...

Wonderful experience. The food is excellent, and the staff are quick and engaging. I had a very positive first experience with my wife and we will be recommending this restaurant to friends and family as a must try.

The sashimi is very fresh which is hard to find at restaurants in Ottawa.
