This place is absolutely unreliable. I ordered two mix-and-match meals and got only one—and it was terrible. What’s worse, this is the second time the exact same thing has happened. They never answer their phone, never bother to fix their mistakes, and clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction. This level of carelessness and poor service is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your money and time.

Worst experience first of all in uber it shows deluxe tiffins, i ordered and call about how these things taste clearly, later he denied .. mismatched orders,, they said we all 3 restaurant are same only deluxe, namaste and other named karara, some curries they said it will taste this on phone later taste different, naan as well, mismatched orders, rude and showing attitude instead of realizing mistakes

I ordered chickpeas biryani. They gave me chicken biryani. I don’t understand how come they have chicken!!!, it’s vegan restaurant. They don’t even answer the phone call. And when they did they told me they’ll call me back after confirming this issue with the staff and never called back again. And now, not picking up calls. Chicken biryani is not even in the menu.

I’m so glad I tried Vegan Namaste this week! I ordered four meals for my lunches, and let me tell you—the portions are massive. Each meal could easily feed two people, so the value is incredible.
I couldn’t resist diving into the Tofu Tikka Biryani for dinner. While it was a bit spicier than I prefer (I’ve been avoiding spice due to stomach issues), I could see it being a hit for someone who loves heat.
The rest of my meals—Mushroom Peas Tofu Curry, Red Lentil & Broccoli Curry, and Spinach Chickpeas Curry with Rice—are waiting for me this week, and each one comes with an incredibly large, naan bread. I’ll update my review after trying them, but so far, I’m impressed.
UPDATE: I found the Red lentil and broccoli curry a tad spicy for me, but the Mushroom peas tofu curry was delicious, my favourite was the spinach and chickpea curry I wish I would've ordered all 4 meals as that one. It had almost no hotness to it and the flavour was amazing!
Bonus points for convenience: you can order directly through Uber Eats, and each meal has a photo so you know what you’re getting.

I ordered from Uber and they sent me the wrong meal. I called namaste vegan and they were not pleasant to speak to on the phone and asked for my phone number and said they would call me back. After not hearing from them I tried calling them a few times and they kept sending me to voicemail. Besides the fact that I got served the wrong meal and ignored, can we please look at the rotten lettuce they call salad 😭 I wanted to like this place since there’s not many vegan spots around but I will never again waste my money with them.
I ordered through Uber eats and had some issues. When l phone the restaurant, the gentleman was kind enough to apologize, and delivered a different meal to me which was of course very delicious. Thank you for listening

I want to like this place because it’s vegan and they have healthy options, but their customer service is absolutely ATROCIOUS. The review of a costumer getting a frozen food item and being told to defrost it themselves and not getting compensation?… what is someone supposed to do if they’re traveling and this happens?? Anyway, this is my experience bellow:
Buy one get one free order. Ordered “mix n match” with my two selections being “Spinach tofu curry” and “Chickpea tofu masala” for a total of 49.98 plus tax and -24.99 for the special promotion. Both chickpea and spinach options were selected on time of ordering. Only received two chickpea masala with no napkins or cutlery. Contacted restaurant. The receipt only says chickpea dish so I don’t know if that’s an error in the app or at their restaurant. Was told he would fix the issue and deliver the spinach dishes. Asked him to bring it to my door so I could show him the receipt and discuss the issue. He instead parked in front of my door and walked down the building which made me think it was someone else but by the time the office called and I looked out the window again he was gone. Tried to call him to explain I had ordered two of the mix n match for a total of 4 dishes and had wanted to show him the receipt. He became agressive and started yelling and hung up in my face.
I don’t know if it’s Uber eats that offers the special promotion for their subscribed customers in which the restaurant receives the full 50$ and Uber takes the loss for the special promotion, or if it’s an error that the restaurant made when setting it up on the Uber app which is what I had wanted to discuss with the restaurant before they became belligerent and hung up on me while I was speaking.
The food was good but with how disrespectful the restaurant is, I can’t recommend someone come here.

We ordered saag Channa rice and naan bites, red lentil curry, rice and naan bites and some sweets. And this the lentil curry we received in a frozen state. Now the restaurant is expecting us to defrost and eat after paying 24.99 for a single meal?? Very disappointed.. and the size of the meal for that money is really cruel

I just want to say this is the most reasonably priced vegan place in ottawa and exactly the reason I go here instead of keeping it vegan and all the other vegan Indian places….THANK YOU owners for not screwing over the rest of us like all the other greedy food sellers that hiked food prices WAY ABOVE inflation.
