If you have an appointment at the Riverside or if you stop to get a Tim Hortons, take it from a foodie freak, just WALK on BY the Tim Hortons and all the way to the back of the hospital all the way down in the basement and your gonna find the most FANTASTIC lunch counter and fabulous food you ever ate at excellent prices.I am not kidding this place is a hidden GEM if you haven't eaten there you just HAVE to. I was so inspired after having a really great breakfast that wasn't over priced and over portioned.The place might be small but the person who runs it puts a a lot of flavor into everything she makes there, she's wonderful and her FOOD omg BEST breakfast and I really thought she dropped a one in front of the price I haven't paid that amount for a full breakfast in I can't even remember how many years!And as a dessert freak what can I say if you can walk out with 4 desserts, have breakfast and take home a sandwish for $20 bucks maybe I should be keeping my mouth shut right?JUST WALK BY THAT TIMHORTONS its got nothing on NAN"S FOOD AND NAN"S PLACE its an old fashioned lunch counter experience that is a hidden breakfast and lunch treasure.THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY FEW PLACES I HAVE REVIEWED THAT GETS A FULL FIVE STARS YO!

Best prices for breakfast, they should advertise more, it's a shame Tim Hortons upstairs steals business from them.

Very good place for an hospital counterYou can get very good home cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price. The owner is very polite. The menu changes every day. She puts alot of energy making sure all customers are happy
