First time at Norca, was always intrigued from the view from the street below.
Nathan was my bartender and he was fantastic!!! I had 2 cocktails, oysters and a glass of wine. The ambiance is so beautiful in Norca, next time i come back i will definitely order more off the menu.
There was a slight issue with my oysters but Nathan fixed it asap. Love it , highly recommended!!
The staff were super nice and gentle. Our server took time to explain the menus and very attentive to our dietary restriction.
We went for the Mother’s Day brunch. At the reception, we were shown a menu that convinced us to book a table, but the day after, when we went for the brunch, it was a different one. The menu was the same as the usual one, they only added a yogurt and granola as a starter, and charged 15$ more for it. The eggs and bacon were overcooked and the Benedict eggs had to be sent back as they were cold. We won’t go eat there again.
Stepped in for some drinks and appetizers and was so pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere as well as the great service I received. Nathan, our bartender, was so attentive and made every cocktail to perfection. The cocktails here are imaginative and delectable. Without a doubt I’ll be back! So glad to have found a new date spot!
Tasty food. Attentive staff. Menu felt quite seafood-heavy which left limited options for those of us less inclined.
Where posh meets approachable, Norca has a great vibe, excellent service, a great bartender and a phenomenal chef. Our lunch was excellent and they handled food allergies wonderfully.
We went to Norca for our Wedding Anniversary celebration while staying at Le Germain in Ottawa.
It was wonderful. Service was great and food was delectable. I took a few pictures but missed a few dishes because we were too excited to try them and forgot to take pictures.
We will be returning! We have had breakfast here twice as well and it has not disappointed.
Everything is great about this place. The service and food are amazing!
What a perfect date night! Thank you to the team for a delicious culinary experience. From the moment we walked in to the time we walked out. Everything was perfect: the food, the meeting with the chef, and the mood of the space. A perfect evening!
Great service by Sarb, our server! Food wise, the Heirloom Tomato and Cucumber Salad, Duck Breast and Steak-Frites were very tasty - highly recommended!

Prices are very expensive since they change the menu and have a new Chef. Food is great but not worth the price. There are better places to eat in Ottawa at a better price point for the same quality. Service is average and really lack of training. Management should be present at all time and trained the staff.
I want to live at this hotel, forever. Vanessa and the team at Norca were especially awesome.
A wonderful Friday night experience celebrating a friend’s birthday. Beautiful, relaxing and cosy ambiance, with friendly and prompt service by Luanne. The mixologist really knows what she’s doing with the handcrafted cocktails and each drink was served in just the perfect glass. Charcuterie and mezze platters were unique and delicious. A fantastic spot for date night, solo dining or with a crowd for happy hour.
What a relaxed but sophisticated spot!! Was here for a birthday cocktail celebration and we were all raving about the ambiance as well as the food and beverages. Charcuterie was fresh and not at all run-of-the-mill. I had a “Granny Sour” which was superbly crafted and others enjoyed the Lavender Haze. Louanne was our gracious server and she spoiled us with a first-class experience. Highly recommend this hidden gem in downtown Ottawa.
