Nostalgica Pub & Beer Garden

The Nostalgica Burger was tasty. The beef patty had a nice charred texture that paired well with the roasted bell peppers. However, it could use a bit more salt and pepper in the patty. The sweet potato fries were delicious and could be enjoyed as a snack on their own. Overall, I had a great experience.

Meats surprised me .balanced savory flavors. Eggs exactement . Nicely fried tomatoe. Nicely overbuttered sourdough toast. Sliver grilled home fries worked.Cooper was fan tastic.

Food is not good.
I ordered a classic burger which was not good. My friend ordered a chocolate brownie which was horrible!

Great vegan options! Food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the vegan club sandwich and mac and cheeze. My partner had a beef burger and vegan poutine which had good gravy and chopped up cheeze slices it seemed. There was no carrot bacon on the sandwich, and beetroot was on it instead (which I like but I’m not sure if it’s a discrepancy from the menu or they ran out). The fries were crispy and salty and the salad was fresh with a really nice dressing. We were happy with the prices and portions. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the veg menu and for some of their events!

The patio was closed, which was disappointing.

Great tap list, beautifully restored building, great ambience.

Great spot for drinks or a meal. The atmosphere is lively and inviting. There is art everywhere, but the vibe is eclectic (not divey). Excellent range of options for beer on tap, with a selection of cocktails and cider etc. also available. Servers are friendly, attentive, and helpful. We felt welcomed and never rushed, even when things got busy towards dinner time.

My second time here and I really enjoyed it. There is 10% discount for graduate student at uottawa. I really like the Nachos.
Unfortunately not open on weekends.

Went for their open mic on Thursday. Super friendly atmosphere where performers were well supported by the host and audience. Definitely will go back.
