Visiting Ottawa and decided to come to Oat Couture for some breakfast. The staff are lovely, very polite. They laugh and joke with each other and seem to enjoy working together which uplifts the atmosphere a lot. The overnight oats were very tasty, and the salted caramel latte was honestly the best latte I’ve had in my life. Very pleased with the experience, I just wish I was local so I could come back weekly!!

Price doesn’t match the quality nor quantity unfortunately.
Atmosphere is pleasant, something like a Starbucks from 10 years ago.
We had the smoke show toast and I expected at least two slices for $17 and was really surprised it was only one slice. The quality wasn’t all that on top of it.

Wish I'd realized that the recipe for the Hangover bowl had changed. No more cheese curds, new recipe is on the bland side and price has increased. Oatmeal was room temperature to the point that my cheese did not melt.

Finally stopped in after driving by this olace so many times and it was well worth it.
A cool edgy little cafe with tasty breakfast sandwhiches and awesome cappucciono.
The staff were great and the service was top notch.
It was a busy spot, so get in early and lock down a seat.

I was here today with a friend to study! Great spot by the window to lock in. The Hungover oatmeal bowl tasted like poutine (aka: heaven on earth)! My friend got the deli panini. It was SOOO good! The baristas were super friendly and welcoming. The cafe gives off small town, tight community, cabin/resort vibes! Will be coming here weekly! 10/10

Very slow service the few times we’ve been here. This last time, waited 45 min just to realize they forgot about our order - nothing was offered to reconcile. Probably won’t be back.

Cool coffee shop with a neat oat twist. I had a chai green tea and my wife had a Chai latte. We share an oat brownie

Oat Couture is one of my favorite spots in Ottawa. I love their bowls, especially that you can add a protein scoop to make them extra filling. My personal favorite is the mocha bowl—it’s so good! Their salted caramel iced latte is amazing too. If you order drinks ahead, they say they only do one size, but I’ve ordered in-store and been able to get a larger size without any issues. I’ve only ever done takeout, but the wait has always been quick, which is great. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but some of their bowls are pretty unique, so it’s worth it.

I really liked their affogato—the ice cream was so creamy and the coffee went perfectly with it. The cookie was fun too, kind of a new adventure for me.

The staff was very rude, she wasn’t responding to our questions properly, she rudely asked me to stop touching something, and the coffee was not made well (the foam was bubbly which shows that milk is not fresh) never coming back.
Updated after owner reply:
The owner’s level of unprofessionalism speaks volumes. I simply touched a glass jar and was met with unnecessary rudeness instead of respectful communication a basic standard in customer service. The employee was unhelpful and unresponsive. The cappuccino was poorly made with bubbly milk, not proper foam, something any trained barista should know. Based on the dismissive reply to my previous review, it’s clear that feedback isn’t welcome here.
(Keeping their original unprofessional reply to my original rating just to show their true morals after they had edited it) thank god for screenshots 😂

I was ready to leave a great review after my visit today, until I read the responses to other people’s feedback. The way the owner replies is downright disgusting. Arrogant, rude, and completely unprofessional. It’s actually embarrassing.
If this is how the business handles honest customer reviews, then it’s clear the owner has no clue how to run a respectable establishment. Take a class in basic human decency, because clearly, you missed that growing up. Your attitude is trash, and you’re driving people away.

Such yummy lates and great customer service ! Even when super busy the young man behind the counter was kind and calm - still gave the time of day to each customer and with a smile despite clearly being understaffed - he slayed under the conditions of the morning open and rush! I was in this morning so thank you so much it was a great start to my day and I hope the employees, employer and owner know how lucky they are to have this lovely person their team.
Ps pls make bigger size for the chicory late thanks :)
