We have usually ordered online, however, we have also been to the restaurant on two occasions and the food was amazing on both 10/10

I got oxtail and rice, and the rice has gone bad either left in the open or just old the food is stinking up my house. The rice was spoilt basically. Coming home to this after work is really disappointing

My wife and I decided to give OB&O a try for lunch, and I must say the Oxtail platter was fantastic, the food was seasoned perfectly and served hot. The plantain was some of the best tasting we have ever had. In addition, David our server was very pleasant and professional. We like to support local small businesses so we will certainly be back to try other dishes.

Excellent food. Ordered a Steak supreme foot long as well as a Pepperoni Passion. Other than missing some spice, it was very tasty, well cooked and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

1st time here. A taste of home - Trinidad. Had the curry goat. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Good price point. Great friendly service. Looking forward to trying more dishes.

Do not order off food delivery apps (judging from the reviews don't go to the restaurant either). Terrible portions for the price. You get mostly rice and the food isn't cooked well. You can get better value and food at other afro-caribbean restaurants in Ottawa.

Don't expect your food to look even remotely similar as to what is shown on the menu. Very disappointing and they do not deserve your business.

BAD SERVICE

The food is good, but the service has become disappointing. Their store has shown as “closed” on SkipTheDishes for weeks, so I called several times to check. They insisted they’re open and told me to use Uber Eats instead but their prices there are much higher than on Skip. When I mentioned this, the staff told me to just order from another restaurant. That response felt rude and unprofessional. If you can’t serve your customers properly, maybe close until you can.

Long wait just for two plates of jerk chicken. Portions were really small, and the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price or the time.
