I visited the location on Industrial and the fries were AMAZING!! I came to the Heron location expecting the same fries and was disappointed to find frozen fries. But everything else was great!

I went because i was nostalgic for the location that used to be on Kilborn, and happened to be nearby, and I was very happy. No nonsense comfort food with a lot of good specials. The lunch special was a hot sandwich and fries for $10 and it was really tasty. The staff were super nice as well.

Used to be a great spot before the pandemic. Since then the specials are gone, prices hit the roof and are now out of line with similar pub food price/quality offerings in the area. Had to find another spot. Still thinking of it with fond memories though. The outdoor seating area needs some major renovation help at these premium prices.
