Got uber eats ordered in with my girlfriend a while back and it was phenomenal! There's not a lot of bbq places in Ottawa but this place stands out
It was a family member's birthday and go every year for the special occasion. In past year's, the food was great! This year, it wasn't that great. The chicken was overhard, and it wasn't all that tasty like in past years

Typical buffet. Lots of options (carving station, pasta made to order, taco bar, lots of desserts). Really good salad bar. Reservations were easily made through opentable. Hostess that seated us was super nice and welcoming. However our server was very vanilla. No personality, but definitely not rude. Maybe having a bad day. Either way, Tucker's Marketplace is a good option if you're in the Byward Market and aren't looking for anything specific.

Seating at the front of restaurant (by windows) is very cold. Tables are very close together and felt like invading on other patrons space when coming in and out of our table area. Service was fantastic! Server was attentive and friendly. Food was a great selection with alot of flavors and good use of spices. Overall was a good experience except for room temperature.

We went this time to Celebrate my son's 37th birthday and we all had an outstanding meal as we always have every time we go, which is usually once a month. We are sure that every person who goes for a meal at this restaurant will certainly want to be a regular customer as well.

We always enjoy the eating at tuckers and usually we go when it someones in the family's birthday as the birthday person is free. We're a family of 5 so a great option for that. Also, we enjoy the nice variety of dishes as we all have different food likes and this seems to please everyone. Definitely love the pasta bar. So good. BTW booking through OpenTable was so easy and convenient.

There was a very loud group of young women who were really annoying with over the top behaviour, most unfortunate. There were not that many people in the restaurant because it was the super bowl time so I felt the wait staff could have done better, at the hot buffet table I waited for almost ten minutes until I went to the kitchen door and asked for help. Our table's wait staff would remove our plates removing our cutlery without replacing them so when we returned to our table with our next serving we had a considerable wait before we were able to get the waitress to bring us cutlery. For the four of us, (a 7 year old) the dinner cost $120 and I don't think it was really worth the so so service, the noise and the wait at the hot table.

I wouldn't recommend the place for diner do to cost and what was on the buffet as selection. For the brunch or lunch what you pay is much more worth the money. I will never go back for diner. When you ask for shrimp and are told number of times to wait as still cooking or on gives you 1-2 sticks and when you ask for more he give 1, it's a buffet and it's Saturday night. Make sure to have lots as people are looking for that and he didn't need for people to justify the WHY they wanted more. Also there's some of the food at the buffet that was cold, like the basa fish, mussels. When we went to get tacos the meat container was empty “twice” Salad bar good as always. Desserts also good as always As for the server he was amazing

I went in for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! Food was great (And free on your birthday), server was a sweetheart and she even kept an eye on us so well she delivered another ice tea just as mine ran out! (Didn't even have to ask) the only thing is the bathrooms are in the basement so I'm not sure about accessibility for people with disabilities BUT other then that I had an excellent meal and will be back again!

This is my favorite place to eat in Ottawa. Always love the selections and the price is good. Great place to come with the family as there is always something everyone likes to eat. I also like the feeling of not ever being rushed and you can eat as much as you want till you're full. Service is always good. Never had a complaint in all the times I have visited. This place is the best.
Maybe offer a fee more dairy free products. My son cant have dairy and I was able to request dairy free scrambled eggs which was great but other than that and fruit we were limited in options for him.

The food and service at Tucker's was fantastic. Everything was delicious and our waiter was attentive and very nice. The only reason the rating is not higher is that it was so loud in the restaurant, my husband and I could barely hear each other talk. This isn't the fault of the establishment, though. I think it is just a place that big groups frequent, therefore making it loud.

We got serve by Vince, on his third day of training on Saturday January 11th. He was a natural. He did awesome! He was welcoming, very polite and often came to check on us and ask if we needed anything. Thanks so much to him and the staff for another great dining experience. Caroline

Our experience was lovely! Great atmosphere! We do go right when the doors open with a reservation just so it's not as busy & usually a nicer quieter enjoyable time. Food is always amazing!

I always enjoy my visits to Tucker's. If I could make a suggestion about the hot food stations, it would be to watch the placement of the seafood dishes. Those of us with allergies are limited at the hot food stations because people mix up the spoons. I have a very uneasy feeling when I ask staff if there are certain ingredients in certain a dish and they come back from the kitchen with the response, "I don't know. It may be best for me to avoid the dish". Our party of four had a wonderful time. I was the only one with allergies. The other members of our party had a variety of items from the buffet and I heard no complaints.
