Really good coffee, though slightly too bitter for my taste. Very friendly service. No seating but they have some standing room. Nice vibe. I usually like to sit down and have a pastry with my coffee, so not my top choice for coffee in the city, but still would recommend it if in the area and just looking for a good quality coffee.

I had high expectations for this place because of the reviews. I ordered a cortado and was serve a macchiato, it tasted fine. Vibes were a little industrial hipster era 2008. I don’t get the hype.

I’m aware of what a macchiato is. However, what I ordered was a cortado and I expected a shot of espresso with the same quantity of micro foam not dry foam, like I was served.
As for the hipster… penny resin counter…full suit in food service… Cheer

great coffee! very rare to see coffee shops roast their own beans these days. Ben is super friendly and was telling us stories about the store and owner’s travel.
Worthy of the best coffees in Italy and Europe! The manager knows his subject, makes his own coffee, he is also very friendly and we also had the opportunity to taste his hot chocolate, remarkable. A pleasant break during our day visiting Ottawa, I can only recommend it!
