Got over charged for Dim Sum today. Had 12 items but got billed for 14 items. Have been going there for 15 years and took so many friends.Very good service by waiter & waitress. Feel bad for them. Owner just getting greedy. Be aware of your bill. Will not go there soon.

The soup was delicious! We had Hot & Sour & chicken corn! We ordered a medium between two of us and it would’ve easily fed four! A small chicken soup was plenty for us to share! Unfortunately, the beef was very tough and chewy… The fried noodles were burnt… and the rice, it wasn’t great. The server was very nice and friendly. He was very attentive as well.I’m giving three stars based on the service and the soup ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recently need there twice as we love Chinese food. We had reached half and hour before closing and was very hungry. The lady was very understanding and helped us choose our food and waited for us about 45 minutes after closing time. We felt bad for her but appreciate the time she gave us. We will definitely go there again. Oh, their food is excellent!!

After a whole lot of consideration, I think this might be Ottawa's best dim sum spot. While the space is a little less polished than Yangtze across the street, Chu Shing more than makes up for it with the quality of their food and attentive cart service. The dumplings were all fantastic, with particular attention to detail on the steamed ones (har gow, siu mai, rice noodle rolls, crystal skin chive dumpling). The only items that were not as good as Yangtze were the lo mai kai (lotus leaf sticky rice) and steamed BBQ pork buns. The fried squid tentacles are on par. Everything else was a cut above. The fact that they still offer traditional cart service is an added bonus. If you're looking for a solid dim sum experience in Ottawa—this is it.

Taste (Dim Sum) is not the same as before. Some people may like it, but not me.

Food Servings are great for large groups. We tried the fish soup with foam( taste like pork rind in a soup). Don’t get me wrong, it was good! Feeling nostalgic with the siomai dipped in soy sauce and the roasted pork belly,.the beef broccoli was tender and not too salty, the pork was tangy with the right amount of Sugar and acid.

I wasn't yet born when I started going here. I've been to this restaurant since I can remember. The food is excellent and the staff helpful and efficient. I take friends here regularly. We go there for holidays and often recommend it to others. I have nothing but good memories of this place for the last 20 years.

Do not go during weekdays, only go for dim sum during weekends. Price is higher than what's written on the menu, you only find out when they give you the bill. Ingredients are not fresh, fish tastes like cardboard

I love this place, especially the duck soup. They got a large selections of food, and price is worth the size!

The food was pretty good hear, fairly standard affair for most of the chinese food. The price was alright and the portions were a good size.Overall I would consider eating here again but wouldn't consider it a must.

The food got my entire family sick for Chinese New Year. We couldn't finish it before feeling immediately sick. Felt like some kind of food poisoning from the chicken (which has the texture of microwave chicken), and seafood. Called in and they acknowledged it with no compensation. Not a good way to start the festival.
