What a wonderful little spot. The atmosphere inside is so inviting and hip - makes you feel like you're in a hidden gem of Ottawa. I had a peppermint hot chocolate and it was delicious, paired with a tasty chocolate croissant. I was very pleased that I had wandered in this place and I will definitely be returning. Maybe even during the summer...to get my bike fixed!

Hidden gem on Sparks St. The food was delicious! You have to try the sandwiches (spicy chicken had amazing flavors and textures) and the chocolate was really good! There were some gifts you could buy from individual vendors within the store which were perfect for Christmas gifts!

amazing ambience and friendly employees
My interaction happens almost a year ago now, but I want to give a big shout out to Alex in the shop. I needed a part for a retro bike that I couldn’t not find anywhere, stopped by the shop and Alex helped me out. Amazing service! Thank you Alex!

My friend and I visited Ottawa from upstate New York this weekend and wanted to hit up a coffee shop before traveling home. I ordered an iced butterscotch latte, which was made incorrectly despite the barista specifying my preferences as I made my order. When I requested the correction, the baristas whispered to each other in front of both me and my friend, which made me feel both uncomfortable and a nuisance (to get the drink I paid for). My friend ordered an iced dark cherry mocha, which came out in a hot cup. She did not request a correction, and left feeling unsatisfied with her drink. Our pastries, a raspberry donut and chocolate croissant, were pleasant but ordinary. The shop itself is lovely - perhaps we had a one off experience considering other positive reviews, but I felt overall that this was unfavorable and would find myself visiting another cafe if I were to return to Ottawa.

I was visiting from Montreal, and I tried this cute café in Ottawa! The staff especially Leanne the barista are very courteous and friendly! She made an awesome chaï for me, the interior is cool and artsy, definitely a must try in Ottawa
