I love going into this local shop. It is owned by a Ukrainian family, and they put a lot of love into everything they cook and bake. I love their perogies and cabbage rolls... oh, they are amazing! It is nice that they have a frozen section, so you can go in and get what you need to make them at home. It is true authentic Ukrainian homemade food. The customer service is divine, and the employees there are very helpful when you have questions.I highly recommend this place...
THE most amazing Ukrainian food! I purchased quite a variety of food for a friends lunch and absolutely everything exceeded expectations. The food included 3 different flavours of perogies (of course!), meat stuffed crepes, cabbage rolls, borscht, and cottage cheese pan cakes and the flavours elicited high praises all around! Absolutely delicious. My kids are already asking when we might visit the store again to buy more! We’ll be repeat customers. ??
I grew up in a Ukrainian family and moved to Ottawa 6 years ago. When I discovered this place I had no expectations but wow do they ever deliver. Everything they make here takes just like baba used to make. The perfect cure for home sickness.
