The worst place to grab a bite in there , Customer service bad , lady with hejab, not willing to help , no menu , no smile . Tell me everything on screen with fool face . I got beef kabab scewer sandwish , they charged me over 15$. Tables are dirty, found only 1 to be able to sit Employees also having arguments with eachother during waiting my order. Scewer were not cooked well.
They don't have mashrooh bread . They have only the white pita . for middle eastern resto offering kabab , this is a big big no , bad managment . Low quality . Just wanna make money and let go

We’ve been many times at Shawarma Palace Carling Av. The food is truly excellent, fresh, tasty, and generous portions. However, the setting feels a bit plain, with very basic furniture and more of a canteen vibe than a restaurant. The service could also be warmer; a friendlier welcome at the counter (the cashier girl) would really improve the experience.

Best shawarma wraps, hands down. I've eaten A LOT of shawarma from different places. Shawarma palace is definitely one of the notable ones. Food is fresh, fast and their portions are very reasonable for the price you pay.
We drove all the way from kanata based on the timing suggested by Google, only to find the place closed. Quite the bummer!!!

I used to be a fan of this place because food is great. I just bought chicken wrap and garlic potato combo but the young lady cashier picks my wrap from the grill with her bare hands and wrap with paper. Aw.. is this cashiers job? I lost appetite so I will throw away. I am going here ever again

I have been coming to Shawarma Palace for over 30 years since the 90’s when it was a small little restaurant on Rideau St. I’ve been dozens of times and it’s the first place we recommend when we have guests visiting and it has never disappointed, until today. This is the first time I decided to visit one of their chain locations, as I have always visited their original restaurant on Rideau Street. The beef quality was very poor at this location. There were huge chunks of fat in the meat, and the flavor was different than it normally was. They’ve also changed their salad, which used to be really good and freshly made, now they are using some spring mix probably because it’s faster/cheaper. I don’t know if these quality issues are specific to this location or if the entire Shawarma Palace franchise has gone downhill, but I certainly will not go back or recommend this location to anyone. The prices have gone way up and the food quality and taste has gone down. I feel sad to have lost my Shawarma haven.

Shawarma was salty and the casher was looking at me when I was putting the tip closely. I felt forced to pay tip so I didn’t. Then, she looked at the receipt and didn’t see the tip and gave a mad look. I’ll probably won’t be coming back.
