We tried this for the first time this weekend. Food is excellent, delicious and reasonable. Definitely recommend if you like Indian cuisine.

Overly rated in terms of food and taste. Ordered take away biryani and butter chicken - both dishes are disgrace to original receipies.

The restuarant is very cold and you won't see much people there. It's mainly used for parties. Sometime food is delicious but sometimes up to your luck and the person cooking it in the kitchen.

Overly rated may be due not much halal desi food options in vicinity. Biryani is like mixing butter chicken gravy with rice and adding some green beans :) - serioulsy. Not sure abt other dishes.

Don’t try take out here. More than once they have received my order but have not actually prepared the food. Then when we arrive for pick up they are confused and then try to quickly prepare the order by heating up frozen grocery store samosas and using a pressure cooker to make half-cooked dal. Then they charge full price. I have finally learned my lesson and won’t be back.

Food is not so tasty and washroom quality is not so good atleast not child friendly. I had a difficult time for my 2 and half years child when she went for washroom.

One of my favourite goto places in Ottawa. Best Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine in town. Food quality and service is outstanding. Very good dine in environment and price is also reasonable. The restaurant is big enough for parties (100+ persons). It is generally reserved during weekends. If you plan to organize a party, then it is better to check the restaurant schedule at least a month in advance. Owners are really nice and friendly.

Visited Ottawa with my friend to attend the Tulip Festival. Went for dinner at Palki (restaurant) and they were just setting up and getting things ready for the evening/dinner so it took some time for the order to come. I am vegetarian and ordered some veg. curries from the menu but they didn't have the few vegetables at the time so chief couldn't make the curry but they suggested me some other curry which had eggplant in it so I told them no to put it in the curry. Took the suggestion and ended up getting the best veg. curries ever with lots of quantities. That meal lasted for two days. All the curries tasted so good and loved every bit of it. The staff was very nice and friendly. Had a great food and experience.
Great east side Ottawa Indian restaurant. Good buffet, reasonably priced. Popular with a range of ethnicities. Service was very good with cook bringing buffet items directly to our table from the kitchen

Tasty food. Buffet was very good and prices are very reasonable prices.

Had such a bad experience eating there, the food was unpleasant to eat like I'm eating a leftover, the washroom like I've been to a public place, and only served part of my order and when the bill came it included everything that wasn't on the table

Palki Cuisine of India is one of the best restaurant in Ottawa, run by Bangladeshi owner. Great for any occasion.
