We visited Paper Tiger on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Small menu, but the food tasted very flavourful. Good portions. Service was pretty quick but we felt a bit rushed despite the place not being too full.

The vegan ramen is incredible. I don't know what they do to those mushrooms but they're so packed full of rich flavour. They also now have a vegan udon dish which is a very interesting combination of flavours that work really well together. I'm super impressed with this place and glad that they seem to keep improving their vegan dishes and getting creative with them.

My mom went here with her friend and they told me that they received horrible service. They felt singled out because they saw that other tables were receiving good service yet they struggled to get the server to come to their table. The server seemed very uninterested and bothered by serving my mom.

It was just so salty. Chicken karaage wasn’t fried evenly, with some pieces being very hard. Was unevenly salted too because some areas were full of salt. The worst was the beast ramen. The beast ramen really doesn’t make sense because the broth is already too salty, plus 2 slabs of salty bacon? They give you 3 “pickled” cucumbers lol, I expected them to be sour to cut through the fattiness of the meat, but they were just bitter. Tried to find something good about the ramen’s flavor but it was just bitter + salty.

Most dishes other people ordered were very good but their Beast Ramen that a friend and myself ordered was very bland, what was surprising with the name and with the reviews of this dish I saw here. The ramen was also very small, about half what you usually get in most ramen restaurants.
I had called to make a reservation for a large group. I have booked and confirmed the reservation. I then called the week of to ensure everything was correct and it was confirmed. The day of our event we showed up only be informed there was no reservation. We were left scrambling to find a restaurant that could take us short notice because we were a large group. Thankfully Crust and Crate were accommodating to our needs.
Would not recommend this place based on their customer service.

Vietnamese Garlic Noodles were amazing. The brisket was flavoured so we. The noodle were buttery and salty. Needed some bread to sop up all of the deliciousness. The pickled onions were a great addition.

I was super hungry so I forgot to take a photo, the one uploaded is half eaten. Super delicious broth, amazing mushrooms, kimchi was perfectly spicy.
I’m only a little sad it was a small portion, to be fair I was very hungry and could’ve eaten more. But very cute place, I ordered take out, very easy and would recommend.
