Food was too much in quantity but thats never a bad thing
Loved the place, everything was awesome!!! Very friendly staff, good quality and quantity in food…. Loved the whole experience
Awesome food, amazing Pitas from their stone oven. You get alot but it is on the $$$ side. For those who want a $6 shwarma experience stick with Guavas. Lost 1 star on pricing.
Well, in my opinion Paramount is the best middle eastern restaurant in Ottawa. The place is clean and elegant, the food is tasty and the service is good. I visit Paramount with my family, and we usually order different items each time so we can try most of the menu, and every time those guys are meeting our expectations in all aspects. I would like to thank the owners of this place for the wonderful experience every time.
Christmas Eve, went to downtown with family and friends. This place attracted us to spend the dinner time.Yes it was a the best decision for that night to have a middle eastern meal. The girl who worked with another guy was very helpful and answered all our questions in a very friendly manner. We noticed that place was filled with Customers but only two people were serving but they did a really good job on serving what you need without any hesitation. I liked the hospitality and the friendliness. They both were the best who understood it was busy and took care of each customers in a friendly manner with a lots of smile on their face.Only suggestion I would give to the management, please add one or two people which will be beneficial to the customers.I love the atmosphere, clean washroom room and prayer room.
Very clean and trendy setting, polite staff and heavenly food. Especially the freshly oven baked pita breads - absolutely irresistible! I have never eaten such delicious bread in my life. And very affordable pricing. Will definitely come back or order from skipthedishes.
This is a review for Management (or lack-thereof): we came on a Saturday evening at the Rideau location. It was at least half-full yet only 2 frontline staff were working. It clearly shows the place is understaffed. You can see the two running around trying to fulfill the orders and catering to customers. Needless mistakes were happening like forgetting the utensils, repeating the order multiple times, and forgetting to bring the inhouse-made pita bread with the order (when the menu raves how special it is). This is what we see let alone what is happening in the kitchen - certainly makes me question the cleanliness.Food quality was below expectation. The only saving grace, the staff are really trying to provide the service customers expect. The waitress will earn a tip but the restaurant certainly not more than 1 star for this mismanagement.
Very bad service and food. Not clean staff. People preparing food had no gloves or hair nets on not even the ones coming out from kitchen. One person kept touching her hair and fixing her earphone and touching food. No one was there at the door to greet as she was somewhere in the back. It was 8:30pm when we visited way before closing time and they were already wrapping up and cleaning supplies all over the floor and at the entrance. Fries were cold and reheated. Very bad!!!
My order had an issue, they replaced it with something not worth as much as I paid. They gave me a puffed tortilla which was hot enough to burn my hand. The portion size is smaller than other paramount restaurants. One of the employees made their personal meal without wearing a hairnet, gloves or even washing their hands thus contaminating the food prep for customers. The hostess was nice though, she offered complementary baklava. 5-star service. 1-star food. 5-star ambiance given the location. 2-star value. Will not return.
The food was very good! The mixed grill platter was beautiful to look at and the taste was exceptional, nothing gamey and the spices were perfect. The only issue I had is that there the food was slightly on the cold side. We had to give back the soup and the rice to be reheated. But the taste was really good! The desert was amazinh! Beautiful knafee and a great portion size. The only thing is that they served the knafee almost dripping with syrup. So if you arent a sugary eater I'd suggest asking for the syrup on the side before ordering the knafee. Otherwise very nice and cheesy! We also ordered arabic ice cream! Huge huge amount. 2 people wasnt enough to finish it all, We had to take the leftovers home. But the taste was phenomenal, full of arabic cotton candy and pistachio.

Compared to all the shawarma places, this is the one with the best ambience. Food is really good, a little towards the pricier end comparatively. But its completely worth it.Great serice, super clean area, clean washrooms, and a cozy environment.Must try: Their rice and spicy potatoes.
It is the best restaurant in Ottawa for sure. The food is amazing, so vibrant tastes, colors and variations. This is Lebanon restaurant offers not just shawarma and falafel. Here you will find traditional Lebanon meals crafted by experienced chefs with love. The food is made fresh, we feel the difference. Their pita is made right there, it's served hot and so delicious. Paramaount prices are very affordable, we go here with the whole family and everyone have his)her favorite meal. Definitely, give it a try and you will find yourself willing to come back.
The service was good but the food can improve. I've had paramount in Toronto and the quality in Ottawa could be better ! I love this place and I'm rooting for you
Fast, friendly and super tasty. Definitely going back.
We went to the new restaurant in Barrhaven...great staff...the food was really good!
