Food was pretty good. Prices in are reasonable. Service was pretty good. Yes it's a bit of a landmark but it's getting in need of a bit of a refresh. Sticky floors feel like they've been around forever.

Came here for a late dinner and got a crispy chicken sandwich and a beer. I would say the food was about average for pub fare, nothing too remarkable. Great beer though and good selection of it.

Went to Paddy's Pub with a group of 4 and had a terrific experience. Our server Jaymee was one of the very best I have seen and being social, I've seen hundreds. She is a treasure for that venue. Had Bangers & mashed and it was excellent. All 4 of us were happy with the food and the atmosphere. Thanks to Paddy's and thanks to Jaymee. We will be back quite often.

I recommend this place to the thought daughters (gender neutral) who like to take themselves out on a reflection-filled solo dinner date to a place exploding with energy and character. The food is yum!
One the best pubs in ottawa. It is a family favorite.

Went in for dinner with some friends. Really enjoyed my experience.
I got the Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious. Quality bread and chicken, great sauce, and the bacon was cooked perfect.
Price was decent too.

I was a bit disappointed to hear that the kitchen uses peanut oil upon arriving and looked forward to eating food with my partner, who has a severe allergy. Refined peanut oil is mostly OK for people with allergies (protein is cooked out) however it is still best for us to avoid food fried in this type of oil. We tried to get something not fried and were told there was also nuts in mostly everything on the menu and they can’t guarantee cross-contamination, although this was not advertised or listed on any of the items (except the nut burger, which was still not specific on the type of nut). On the cross contamination issue, I understand you can never guarantee however our server made it seem like there were nuts on every station in the kitchen which was confusing because there were no nuts listed on the menu items. We eat out at restaurants all the time and it is a relatively normal practice to accommodate allergies in kitchens. I would recommend listing the correct ingredients on the menu or advertising the use of peanut oil. Some extra food safety in the kitchen would also go a long way to making customers comfortable eating at this restaurant and feel welcome.
I am not one to write a bad review - that’s not my intention. I would come back here for drinks but wanted to share my experience and feedback.

Comfy but a pint of alcohol free beer for $9 is a bit too pricey
