We had the nine course tasting, but instead of wine pairing we had cocktails and let the Wine Sommelier pair glasses of white and red which worked for us. Every dish was presented and explained which allowed us to really understand the flavor spectrum presented. Dinning here is not like another restaurant where you can identify every component. Its exciting to experience new flavors and the verbal descriptions help. Its a special type of dining which I would call entertainment for your taste buds.

I was a bit nervous at first because we had some bar seating but it was a blast! Bar seats were very confortable and we had plenty of place and wasn't squeeze! At first you enter in a small and cozy place in little italia. The staff greeted us and the magic began! We've enter in the world of a great chef and a great person. We are almost sitting in the kitchen with the chefs and watch them platting and cooking. The chef, justin, serve himself some of the plates and explain the dishes. Being at the bar we had the chance to talk further more with him and learn about is rich background ! Of course the food was delicious, the wine brillant but i was surprise and happy to taste incredible sake in the pairing menu! I highly suggest it to everybody, what an experience !

Was bar seating and it was a very enjoyable night. Excellent food, great peoples, cozy ambiance. Every dish was a nice surprise. Loved the pairing wine AND sake! Would suggest to anyone ! I have some food allergy and they were very cautious and sensible to that! Great service!

My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Perch, from start to finish the experience was outstanding. The food was carefully prepared with every attention to detail. Not only was the food phenomenal but the drinks pairing was one of the best we've had, every sip accompanied the meal perfectly. The infused gin cocktail was a standout! From a culinary stand point, each dish presentation was immaculately constructed with the smallest of details being taken into account. Each dish was accompanied by beverages that were carefully selected that complimented the tantalizing palette experience. We were served by "Shannon" the sommelier to which we simply have no articulation to express the level of guest experience he provided. The expression "Going above and beyond" would simply not do him justice. The open concept kitchen exposed us to the magical team that awaits any patron. From the sous-chef all the way to the Chef - we were immersed into a culinary journey whereas we not only interreacted with the team during our stay, but moreso, were offered detailed explanation of the dishes origins as well as creative process. All our questions were answered without hesitation. Simply a divine experience all around. Absolutely recommended to any food aficionado. 5star!

Ambiance was more approachable than other tasting menu restaurants in the city. You can watch your dishes being plated which is entertaining at the same time. A great experience! Accommodation for an allergy in our party was respectfully done to keep the theme of the dishes in line with the other diners. We appreciated the promotion of environmental sustainability rather than veganism.

This is our new go to celebratory spot, because of their menu and also surprisingly, house mocktqil pairing. I was so inspired by the lvl of sustainability the restaurant focuses on, even in their beverage options.
My only critique is the duck was so chewy I had to spit it out. Not sure if it was a cookery issue or just a bad duck.
