This is one of those places that you have to try. We go there for family get-togethers and always leave feeling good. Service is fabulous and the food....mmmm. Love the lobster poutine and fried wontons and the fish and chips are one of kind. Worth it!

Wonderful food and drink. I had the Bill's burger and my companion had the duck. Both were delicious but the hit of the night was the French Onion Soup.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a burger wrapped in lettuce with cheese, expecting something flavorful and well-presented—especially for a high-ranking restaurant. Instead, what I received looked plain and unappetizing, with no cheese and barely any effort in presentation. For the price and reputation, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Definitely not worth the hype.

The coziest neighbourhood spot with the best comfort food. Service is consistently excellent, food is always flavourful. Never disappoints!

fter a very long two weeks on vacation, my wife and I were looking for a quiet spot to unwind. We stumbled upon Petite Bill’s Bistro through Google Maps, and what a delightful surprise it was!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the kindest, most genuine staff with infectious smiles that immediately made us feel welcome. Our server was equally warm and attentive, quickly reading our mood and lightening the moment with a joke while serving an absolutely delicious Americano.

We ordered the veggie chowder special and the seafood chowder, both of which were incredible and came with fresh homemade butter buns. Every bite was comforting, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and inviting — the perfect little retreat after a long trip.

This restaurant is a quaint spot with friendly service and delicious food. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. They went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable. Highly recommend!

Greeted with a smile upon arrival. The smells in this cozy bistro were amazing. 8 women meeting for lunch on Friday to celebrate an upcoming baby arrival. The selection of non alcoholic beverages was abundant! I went with a 0% Reisling which hit the spot. Everyone loved their meals. I had the sourdough French dip that was excellent. Creme brule to finish was superb. Would highly recommend this cute, cozy and tasty bistro!

After a very long 2 weeks on vacation my wife and I were looking to find our own way away from others. We drove looking for a different vibe and after finding ourselves at the city of Ottawa public works yard we succumbed to Google maps to find something close by.
To our absolute delight we found ourselves at Petite Bill's Bistro. Not knowing anything about it we walked in blind and hoped for the best.
First we were met with the kindest most genuine friendly person who with her infectious smile welcomed us in. Our server was equally kind and genuine. He recognized that we were a little fried and was quick with a joke and speedy service to an absolutely delicious americano. We followed up with ordering the Veggie chowder special and seafood chowder. Both were amazing and served with homemade butter buns. Lunch consisted of fish and chips for me and French dip grilled cheese for my wife.
The food felt homemade. I say that because Petite Bill's has its roots in Newfoundland and once we discovered that we understood why it felt like home.

Thank you Petite Bill's Bistro for caring for us, feeding us, and making us feel like we were family.

Went for a lunch on a holiday, service was prompt and polite but very friendly, and atmosphere was excellent. Risotto was delicious, great value, decent amount of lobster and shrimp in it, as well as not feeling over heavy with cream and it was low sodium. Highly recommend this bistro!
