for the price of the soup and delivery. I'm very desappointed. More nouddles ok but almost no meat. And the bean and lime and ment where border lign not fresh. Over all it's insulting to pay this much for basically a nouddles soup

Took long to be served. Wasn’t very busy.

Kid-friendliness: Very kind and pleasant. :)

Our go to for take out. Their Chinese and Thai food are better than their Vietnamese food.

We’ve bern going to Pho Van Van for over 15 years (since the previous location). Service has always been impeccable. Quality of food is flavourful and fresh. Restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and particularly enjoy the fact that it’s not noisy.

Pho Van Van is a must-visit for lovers of authentic Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. The extensive menu features a wide variety of pho classics alongside flavourful Thai offerings, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

I started with the fried chicken dumplings, which were perfectly crisp and bursting with flavour - a true delight.

The rice noodle soup with chicken and shrimp was equally satisfying, with a light yet flavourful broth and fresh ingredients that made it incredibly comforting.

Conveniently located in the heart of Wellington Village, Pho Van Van is the perfect spot to fuel up before or after a shopping excursion. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, making it an ideal choice whether you’re dining solo or with a group.

The service was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this spot has become a local favourite.

If you’re in the area and craving a hearty bowl of pho or some Thai-inspired dishes, Pho Van Van won’t disappoint.

Had an impromptu weekday lunch with a friend. I had the chicken salad rolls followed by vermicelli with grilled chicken, beef and a spring roll. The menu is surprisingly large and varied.

Filling, but more expensive than Chinatown.

Although 12 people entered the resto right before us, the staff handled the extra folks like pros.

We ordered from here for the first time, we got the vermicelli bowl with pork and shrimp. We were shocked at how little the portion sizes were compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we've been to. For 18$ all we got was one strip of pork and 4 shrimps. Is this the quality of the restaurant or inflation?

I ordered from Uber Eats a few weeks ago, and they forgot to put in the requested utensils. We were on a job site and had to resort to wearing disposable gloves to eat our meals. They comp'd $6 for our next order, so we went with takeout to avoid this snafu again. 🤦🏻‍♂️

A year ago:
We came in at 5pm and ordered 2 Pho Tais and 1 #323 Vermicelli with prawns, pork, and spring roll. They gave us a big jug (250ml) of fish sauce for the vermicelli, which is nice, however it was lacking flavour... could use more actual fish sauce in it, if not sugar. The spring rolls were delicious and crunchy. The pork and prawns were surprisingly sauteed in a yellow curry - although they were good, I was expecting the standard lemongrass; they should write that in the menu. The pho was good, we'd order it again. The service was ok, ambience is nice.
