It’s our new favourite go-to restaurant since we moved to the new neighborhood Quinterra, in Ottawa South. The restaurant owner Ms Minh is also the main chef, she is super nice, and always trying to improve her menu with more varieties. Either you order Pho or her special soup Bun Bo Hue or Bun Suông Tôm, beef and chicken broths are always delicious and very tasty. We love her summer rolls with shrimps, or grilled meats, they’re very refreshing with fresh veggies and herbs. And of course, we can’t say enough about her papaya salad to enjoy during this kind of heat and humid that we have this summer in Ottawa. My husband also tried bánh mì filled with grilled chicken or pork, even though we read the review earlier, but he found the meat is well marinated to make it so tender, accompanied with her homemade sauce with a hint of lemon grass, garlic, sweet and salty, and lots of shredded veggies, she doesn’t use regular, boring salty soya sauce straight from a bottle like others, her bánh mì is so big that my husband could save some for the next day. Pho Kamlong restaurant had changed a new owner since January 2025, Ms Minh Vu and her entirely family working together at the restaurant. They are representing Vietnamese hard workers in Ottawa, working long hours and never complain. We strongly recommend everyone to try their food for lunch, dinner, or you can book a private party to celebrate any events as my husband had booked in May to surprise my 65th birthday with our family and friends.

My date and I both got a medium sized (P1) pho bowl of rare beef, very good!! I really enjoyed the generous amount of green onions and onion in the broth. I also got the summer roll of grilled chicken which is unreal good. Very fresh out of kitchen! My date got the pork spring roll, he said it was very good as well. The server was also kind and was able to repeat what we ordered back to us which was a big one for me.
Recommend coming here again for sure whenever I'm in this area.

This was our 3rd visit and as usual, the food was great. Plenty of parking. We were the only couple there at 5 p.m. on Canada Day 🇨🇦. The waiter was okay but never smiled, asked us how our food was or if we needed anything else, and he seemed like he'd rather be elsewhere. Anywhere elsewhere. Still, I totally recommend this restaurant. Try the shrimp fried rice and the papaya salad.

I enjoy the food at this place at least once a month. Winter pho with brisket and summer vermicielli with beef, pork and spring rolls. Both very good. Koi fish are a nice touch too.

The best Pho place ever! I have tried almost all of their menu and it always comes out fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is so vibrant with the decor and the music. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend them ✨
I'm not normally a asian food person but the hotel i was staying at mentioned this place I'm glad they did the food was excellent the service was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean i believe the owners were running it thank you very much for the great food next time I'm in ottawa I'll be coming to your restaurant

The food tastes decent, but the portion sizes are too small. We ordered two large beef pho (P8), but the serving size was equivalent to the normal size at most other restaurants. The waiter would immediately clear the table and prepare the bill the moment you put down your chopsticks, which felt a bit rushed. Additionally, for a $38 bill, when you pay $50, they assume no change is needed, which is rather presumptuous. Overall, not a great experience considering the price and service.

Had fresh chicken rolls and chicken pho. The chicken rolls were very good! The pho was also decent too. I wish the chicken in the soup was grilled chicken. But overall I recommend if you are craving pho.

My normal pho place was overly busy, so I called Pho Kam Long, where a young gentleman took my order, repeated the other correctly, and informed me it was only going to be 15 minutes. Fantastic!
Upon arriving, I was greeted by a wonderful koi pond, and next, the gentleman that was on the phone. He informed me that the location was just bought by a Vietnamese family in hopes of bringing life and authenticity back into the local pho spot.
To test their limits, I got deep fried pork wontons, a vermicelli dish with chicken, beef, and spring roll, alongside 2 small pho, both with beef, but one spicy, the other not. I was impressed with a different texturing batter of the wonton, alongside a refreshing, sweet but spicy sauce that flattered the appetizer. The vermicelli was phenomenal 👏 🙌. The pho had hints of northern style flare with its spicy, rich broth.
Like the 2 koi they saved that were left by previous owners neglected, the new owners will survive and prosper because their food shows they care.
