In Ottawa on business and staying in the area. Came to check this place out. Food was quick and fresh. We enjoyed all our items. Had the egg noodles with the wonton soup and it was delicious. The shrimp wontons were amazing. Vermicelli bowl was filling and the fresh rolls were 10/10 with great peanut sauce.

Came here looking for a delicious bowl of pho and I was not disappointed!! Great service, clean space and amazing food. I had gotten the pork and shrimp appetizer and they were very flavourful. The Pho was hot, noodles were soft, and the beef was tender! I would 100% recommend this place.

Some of the best bun I have ever had. The pork is like candy.

been coming here since i was a kid as it's right in my neighborhood. This is the best Vietnamese food I have had in the city. The service is always amazing as well. A staple from my childhood which I still frequently visit.

Fantastic food, new favourite spot nearby. I particularly like their spring rolls for the super thin and crispy shell.

Enjoyable Pho spot with nice service. Broth was tasty. Would prefer some more meat in the dish for the price but was still good.

While the food was good, the service was poor. We ordered online and we were offered free spring rolls if the order exceeded $40. Ours was over $50 so we saw the offer on the bill. When we picked up the order and brought it home, we didn’t see the spring rolls. We called up the restaurant only to be told by the snarky person who answered our call that we hadn’t “pressed on the button” which highlighted the free spring rolls so the restaurant didn’t see it. We explained that it wasn’t clear that there was a button to be pressed. And anyway the rolls were free. He adamantly refused to offer us these rolls even though he acknowledged that they were free!! Very poor customer service.

It’s our new favourite go-to restaurant since we moved to the new neighborhood Quinterra, in Ottawa South. The restaurant owner Ms Minh is also the main chef, she is super nice, and always trying to improve her menu with more varieties. Either you order Pho or her special soup Bun Bo Hue or Bun Suîng Tîm, beef and chicken broths are always delicious and very tasty. We love her summer rolls with shrimps, or grilled meats, they’re very refreshing with fresh veggies and herbs. And of course, we can’t say enough about her papaya salad to enjoy during this kind of heat and humid that we have this summer in Ottawa. My husband also tried bánh mì filled with grilled chicken or pork, even though we read the review earlier, but he found the meat is well marinated to make it so tender, accompanied with her homemade sauce with a hint of lemon grass, garlic, sweet and salty, and lots of shredded veggies, she doesn’t use regular, boring salty soya sauce straight from a bottle like others, her bánh mì is so big that my husband could save some for the next day.
Pho Kamlong restaurant had changed a new owner since January 2025, Ms Minh Vu and her entirely family working together at the restaurant. They are representing Vietnamese hard workers in Ottawa, working long hours and never complain. We strongly recommend everyone to try their food for lunch, dinner, or you can book a private party to celebrate any events as my husband had booked in May to surprise my 65th birthday with our family and friends.
