Best pho in Ottawa. Nothing compares to the time and effort put into this broth. Thanks for always being there on a cold night.

For such a high rated place, it was a very average bowl of pho. Broth was not very flavourful at all, cuts of meat were relatively thin and ordinary.

Spring roll broken rice was OK, but noodles were not vermicelli but some strange yellow noodle.

Pho Thu Do is a special place for me. It was the very first restaurant I visited when I came to Ottawa — my introduction to Vietnamese rice noodle here — and after more than 25 years, it’s still the first place I go with my family.

The food has always been reliable and comforting, the kind of flavour that brings you back without thinking. Service is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s the kind of spot that quietly becomes part of your routine without you even noticing.

After all these years, it remains one of my go‑to places in the city.

This is our go-to late night pho place. It's open 'til midnight (which shocking in Ottawa), the pho and vegetarian noodle soup is excellent, there is never a queue and the service is great 👌

No flavour, no salt, no marination, food is tasteless. The chicken broth tastes old. Service is okay
And do not let me started on that chicken pho my god

Food was extremely mediocre. The noodles were simultaneously overcooked and undercooked by some miracle of satan. Broth was flavourless and the spring rolls for the combo were more equivalent to a third of a single spring roll.

The best!! So delicious, you won’t regret coming here. The pork chop rice is so good and the pho is really good.

I have just tried the Bun Dau Mam Tom (vermicelli, fried tofu, toppings and shrimp paste). It was fantastic, really authentic. The plate is not in the menu yet, you have to ask the server for it. Highly recommended this for anyone who can handle shrimp paste. Absolutely, best VNmese restaurant I have tried so farr in Ottawa.
