Closest thing I can get to a home cooked meal in Centretown. I get the medium rare beef pho once a week, it’s very nourishing. The beef is halal. I can’t help but wonder how much additional customers would come if the stock broth became halal too. The chef in me is dying to try the pho with tenderloin rare beef which would elevate the already incredible dish. Regardless what they’re doing works great 🤌🏽

Best Vietnamese soup place in Ottawa's Chinatown (and we have tried them all). Both pho and chicken broths are delicious and the basil, sprouts and lime accompaniments fresh and plentiful.

The soup broth was amazing, and the service went above and beyond. So kind, and even gave suggestions for next time we visit. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Get the bun cha Hanoi, it's the best version in Ottawa. The pho, vermicelli, and bun bo hue are good but similar to what you can get elsewhere.

A hidden gem in Ottawa. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. We tried the rare beef pho and the beef vermicelli and immediately after the first few bites we could tell the ingredients were very fresh. There is also a variety of options on the menu if you can’t have meat.

One of the Vietnamese restaurant that can bring out the most authentic taste of Vietnamese foods. I go here weekly since the price is affordable and I don't get bored of going since there are a variety of dishes you can choose from. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and great service. Went with a party of 6 including small kids. The pho was delicious and my kids ended up eating most of my vermicelli bowl because the grilled pork was irresistible. Will definitely be back next time we come to Ottawa.
Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly.
Literally the best place for pho in the entire city!! I go here so frequently!!

The best bún bò Huế I’ve had in Ottawa! It’s full of flavour with just the right amount of spice. The family running the restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

When I tell you I am a pho addict I am telling you I am a PHO ADDICT.
I have scoured the whole city of Ottawa, Brockville, Kingston. (Aside from Pho Chopstix in Kingston. Pho Tuan has to be the best pho place ive ever been to!
I got there twice a week and I live in the country of the west end. It is so damn worth it and amazing.
You know how you usually sometimes leave pho places feeling overly full … almost not feeling to good? I gorge a large pho with extra meat and veggies and feel amazingly perfectly full afterwards…
This pho restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment I walk in … Im always greeted with warm, friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere immediately made me feel at home.
The broth was rich and flavorful, clearly simmered to perfection, and the portion sizes were generous. I loved how fresh and crisp the herbs and vegetables were, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. (Real rice noodles - not the ones at most pho restaurants)
The attention to detail really sets this place apart. Whether you’re a pho enthusiast or trying it for the first time, you’ll be blown away by the depth of flavors. I also tried their rice paper wraps, and they were a perfect complement to the meal—light, refreshing, and filled with fresh ingredients.
If you’re craving authentic, high-quality pho, this spot should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely delicious!
I ate here for the first time in Nov 2024 based on some great google reviews and boy it did NOT disappoint.
The service: Michelle was awesome. She suggested some options and asked about allergies and preferences. She even brought out a taste test to make sure things weren't too spicy.
The food: Just wow! I had a pork dish that was like a deconstructed bowl of food. It was really good. Everything was tasty, fresh and so plentiful. My friend had their BBQ pork soup and he didn't say much because he was eating so intently..
I almost had to roll myself out of there...
The space: its a small restaurant that filled up quickly but was nicely decorated.
I will be returning to try new things...

It's hard to find a good bun cha Hanoi in Ottawa, but this was close to the one we had in Vietnam. The pho broth was good as well, it's quite flavourful. It's a good price for the quality of the dishes.
