Have enjoyed the good food for 18 years.
The staple of Kanata North's IT district. Red sauce is always served beside the Chicken balls instead of directly on them by default. 20+ years has provided the most consistent meal for any season or holiday. The Vietnamese coffee is the best around, and there's always a smile to greet you picking up, or dining in.

This is our go to place for Chinese food. Very consistent, good portions and reasonable prices. Don't let the dated interior fool you, the food is amazing. I drive 30 mins out of my way to get it.

NOT celiac safe. The menu claims to flag which items are gluten free, but when ordering a gluten free menu item, and confirming, the staff told me it wasn’t gluten free. I was left with steamed veggies. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is a safety issue and needs to be made public. They really shouldn’t be randomly saying half the menu is GF when it’s not. Scary.

First time ordering and it was amazing! Not heavy or greasy. Very flavorful and vegetables were cooked perfectly. As other reviewers have said the fried rice is delicious! Lots of meat on the ribs and the chicken balls were crispy on the outside tender and light. Definitely will order again.

If anyone says anything negative about this place I beg you to ignore them. I have a few severe food allergies that I am usually pretty clear on everytime I show up to dine in. Its my own risk for doing this but I can say that most things I tried, including the crispy noodle chow mein, are totally safe for peanut/nut allergies and sea food allergies. Look if youre celiac maybe thinnk of eating somewhere else?? I dont think any asian restaurant in the area is gluten friendly I would skip altogether dont be a bother. The pho is KILLER, better then noodle house down the road, may not have as many options as them but phu yens broth is more then authentic. Even the chinese food is really really good, and again for allergies you never know but be very clear with the staff, Cause I eat here all the time and never had a single reaction, where i went to an indian place not far and that right away gave me a reaction I just ordered a rice dish from the place. Long story short, I love their hot coffee, 5/5 stars for that, crispy chow mein is insane, pho is delicious, their vermicelli and rice/meat dishes tastes fresh everytime, dont expect a 5 star meal here folks but I guarantee what quality they have to offer should blow you away.

We have been loyal (delivery) customers for about a year now. We appreciate your extensive menu & your variety of combo plates! Love your deep fried won tons as well! Keep up the great work!

Pretty bad, $110 for four items, and only one was decent. Maybe because it was an early takeout order at 11:40am, or from mostly the Chinese side of menu rather than Vietnamese, or takeout rather than dine in…regardless it’s inexcusable, especially at the extreme menu prices… Was surprised how quickly they said it would be ready, and the food was waiting after only 10-15 mins - clearly nothing prepared fresh or even put in a properly heated wok. . Sechuan beef not remotely spicey, inexplicably sweet and veggies all mushie. No wok hei to any of the items. Fried rice had ample “stuff” but bland, thin spring rolls had too hard monolithic crust and filling lacked flavour. Only Singapore vermicelli was enjoyable, and comparable to other resto versions… but at 40% higher cost…

We've heard marvelous things about this long-time Kanata North staple and were anxious to try it. To be honest, while the two dishes we ordered were tasty, the take-out bowl sizes were medium, at best, and the portions were 25% meat to 75% vegetables & sauces. The biggest surprise & dissapointment was the 'free steamed rice' portion for two prople; maybe a half-cup size! Tasty, but overpriced for the portion sizes received.
