We recently hosted our engagement party at Playback Ottawa and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish!
Working with their event coordinator, Josie, was a dream — she was so helpful, responsive, and incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. She made the planning process seamless and stress-free, and we felt completely supported every step of the way.
The space itself was perfect for the kind of event we wanted — a mix of mingling, games, and celebration. There was plenty of room for guests to relax, enjoy themselves, and sit down comfortably for meals. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming.
We also have to shout out the bar staff, who were amazing! Super friendly and professional, and every drink was top-notch.
We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Playback Ottawa to anyone looking for a unique and versatile venue for their next event.

We had our private party here for about 50 people. We wanted a place where we could just show up and not have to worry about decorating or making a lot of decisions and this worked perfectly. Staff were communicative and helpful! Highly recommend for a simple, no stress event!

We hosted a corporate event here and it was extremely well-received by my colleagues and I. The foosball, bocce, beanbag toss, darts were all throughly enjoyed and the drink variety at the bar was great. We brought our own pizza, salads and treats in. The customer service was excellent and the care taken prior and during our event was excellent. Josie asked questions about our group before the event so they could have everything sorted and planned - even our playlist requests for music! Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a low maintenance but fun filled place to do your corporate event at then look no further than PlayBack. You can rent out the space, bring in some catering and with the games available in the space and fun atmosphere, the event almost takes care of itself. This year we added archery games and escape rooms to kick off the event and people had a great time. Can't recommend this place enough.

We hosted our baby shower here last week - such a great space! Access to games was a great way to entertain guests and kids. Being able to bring in our own food was also a huge plus - we were able to do a mix of catering as well as home made things. Josie was super helpful, accommodating, and quick to answer any questions we had! Would highly recommend this space for your next event!

We had to re-adjust last minute because our initial plan for a team event got cancelled, they were quick to accommodate us. The employees were great and the service was wonderful. Everyone had a blast!
My wife and I had our wedding here. The event coordinator was an absolute gem to deal with, her name was Josie. She was really accommodating and followed up on all our requests and accommodations. She was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process.
The space is great, we barely used any decorations because the space for our aesthetic so well. The games were a hoot, our guests had an amazing time. I would recommend this space for anyone looking to book an event, the bar staff, planning staff, and everything else were amazing.
I would definitely come back to host future events!
Also the escape rooms next door are the best in the city.

We hosted a small (25 people) work event here and it was perfect. The venue is awesome, the service was excellent. Parking is easy. You bring in your own food, which helped us with allergies and costs. Would highly recommend.
