A local legend in the poutine scene. The specialty poutines never disappoint. While sometimes they get a little weird (butter chicken poutine is not my thing) it's always delicious and there will be a new combo next week! Cannot recomend enough.

The gravy and cheese were good, but there wasn't nearly enough cheese curds. I expected way more based on other reviews and pictures. So that was fairly disappointing.
The fries themselves were thin and crispy, but lacked flavour. I was able to redeem them to a degree with lots of salt, vinegar, and ketchup.
The portions are generous for the price.

I’ve had thousands of poutines in quebec & ontario & i can honestly say this place is definitely overrated. Cheese curds aren’t fresh & melt pretty much right after the sauce is put on the poutine, the fries are fresh but they lack in size in my opinion and the gravy doesn’t really taste like much.

Daily specials and delicious shoestring fries. Pong's is worth the trip to Carp Road. Ample parking and seating area is clean and well kempt. Service is fast, but be prepared for a lineup as people often flock for lunch.

Easily one of the top 3 poutines in my list. I had doubts about the thinner fries, but to my surprise, these fries were a perfect base for the poutine, perfectly cooked with plenty of cheese curds and a tasty gravy. Another thing that stood out was the value; you will be shocked at the amount of food you will get for the price you paid.
