I visited Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen recently, and compared to other locations I’ve been to, one thing I appreciated was the availability of parking for customers. The place itself isn’t big. When I entered, I noticed several yellow “wet floor” caution signs and some trash on the floor. It might have been a busy time, so perhaps the staff didn’t get a chance to clean right away. On a positive note, the saleslady took our order efficiently and was attentive. Our food was prepared in about 10 minutes, and everything came out hot and complete, which we appreciated.

Very bad customer service, they don't talk politely
It’s unbelievable that a place with service and food quality this poor can stay open and still make money. Every visit comes with a new problem, and no one seems to care about customer service at all.
Today’s issue: after waiting 15 minutes, I asked how much longer our order would take. The staff member replied—completely unbothered—“5 more minutes.” What she didn’t mention (and likely wouldn’t have unless I asked) was that they were actually out of the item I ordered. If I had been told they were out of mild tenders, I could’ve chosen something else instead of wasting 25 minutes waiting like my time didn’t matter.
To make things worse, the food quality was terrible: a smashed, falling-apart biscuit and cold poutine. This place is always busy, yet mistakes happen every single time.
Eventually, I snapped and decided to leave this honest review. The constant issues, combined with the indifferent attitudes and lack of basic communication, are beyond frustrating. We live only 500 meters away, which is the only reason we keep giving this place chances—and keep making the same mistake.
