Do not rely on this place if you want to have a large party. We had a 30th birthday party scheduled here for 25 people and even called the day before to confirm. When we arrived they told us someone with a similar name also booked and they got here first so they get the space. They sent our group out with nowhere to go in -10° weather. They have taken zero accountaibilty for this issue. They’ve said it’s not their fault people with a similar name booked a party on the same night. Now they’re saying there was a mystery third party with a similar name. They also said things like we’re just a dive bar you shouldn’t expect much. Almost making it seem like we’re to blame for the issue. Very disappointed with this place.

It’s understandable for mistakes to happen. But double booking 2 parties for 20 people on a Friday night is completely preventable.
Taking down full names and confirming phone numbers is a very easy way of avoiding this issue.
Unfortunately now we are 20 people who are all from out of town for a party that won’t happen as we were turned away at the door because of a double booking error.
As a group of industry folks we are extremely unimpressed.

Pour Boy on Somerset is one of my favorite spots in Ottawa for a casual night out. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, with a great mix of people and music that’s never too loud.
The food is solid — especially for the price. Their burgers and nachos are always on point, and they’ve got some of the best daily specials and cheap pints in the city. The staff are super chill and welcoming, which really adds to the charm of the place.
Whether you’re meeting friends for drinks, catching a live show, or just grabbing a quick bite, Pour Boy never disappoints. Definitely a hidden gem in Centretown!

Highway robbery, if a french fry is 5$ and a sweet potato fry is 6$ how can you charge 4$ extra to change the fries on a Philly sandwich?? I should of had a discussion with the manager but we were in a hurry an I wasn't in the mood, just thought that it would be fair to charge 1$ extra and not 4$, poor judgements from the manager and establishment owner.

Extremely hot! Went with friends for stand up comedy acts in the upstairs area. It started much later than the mentioned time. Wasn’t the best quality of comedy. Food was alright. Drinks felt pricey - felt like they skimp on the amount of alcohol in cocktails.
