Great classic British style pub, with great taxidermy and knick knacks to boot. Was there in that period between Christmas and Boxing Day. There was karaoke and good cheer, the perfect atmosphere.

A favourite stop of mine during my holiday visits to Ottawa. Pubwells has become a tradition for us. It feels like stepping into a cozy 90s Christmas. Nostalgic and full of great energy. The staff are amazing, they always go out of their way to accommodate walk-ins. The cherry on top this year, we caught DJ Lewis spinning records and it made the whole experience even better.

Fun spot for a gathering with friends or colleagues!
The atmosphere is chaotic in the best way. The host and servers go out of there way to make sure groups have a spot and a nice time.
I recommend the chicken club sandwich and regular fries.

Just walking into this amazing pub made me feel like I was home! The decor is rich and comfortable with leather couches and chairs across the gorgeous new bar. Service to us on the couch was excellent-the bar tender was genuinely charming. I had a delicious french onion soup with a glass of tempranillo ($12 for 9oz!!!) and will be back for dinner. This place is an Ottawa GEM next to the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica and the National Art Gallery- go!!!

The 2 items on their menu labelled as gluten free are cooked in a shared fryer. They indicated they have a gf bun but I did not stay for food. The 2 stars are only for the cozy pub atmosphere.

Incredible place! We loved the decoration and the live music. The pizza was really good and the burger probably one of the best I have tried in Canada. We will be back to try the wings, they had rally good smell
