I’ve been to Punjabi Canteen a few times, but unfortunately, my experience has never been good. We ordered Chole Bhature, Fried Rice, Dhaba Chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, and Lacha Paratha, but none of the dishes met expectations. The curries were overly sweet, and the chole was completely tasteless.
I even shared my feedback with the staff at the restaurant, but they seemed indifferent and unconcerned.
Another major issue was the unpleasant smell inside the restaurant, which lingered the entire time and made it uncomfortable to sit and eat.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options but the food was not good.

Such a poor and bad services that my uber driver didn’t deliver my order he cancelled it. I was calling them refund they didn’t even answer. There no point to spend money with this worst customer service.
Very disappointed, order medium spice noodle but came with no spices and test is different than last time.

The tandoori momos and Amritsari kulcha were okay. But the Malai chaap was not so good. It was cheesy and heavy, and did not taste like the authentic malai chaap.

The most disappointing Amritsari kulcha I experienced was here. They claim it's fresh, but it was thawed before they cooked it. The filling and skin of the kulcha made it evident. I can't understand why Indian restaurants are offering frozen food under the label of fresh. Additionally, prices are also inflated.
The food here is delicious, and the restaurant is clean, which is always a plus. We usually order the Chicken Kadai, which is flavorful and well-prepared. However, there was one occasion where the chicken seemed off, which was disappointing.
Another downside is their payment policy. They charge card fees for both debit and credit card transactions, which feels unfair. Passing on their business costs to customers isn’t right, especially when most places don’t do this. If you pay cash, there’s no fee, but it’s inconvenient.
Overall, great food but with some room for improvement in practices!

Worst food, taste was weird. Neither gonna come again nor gonna suggest someone to visit.
Not at all suggested , all the items were uncooked.
Restaurantji Recommends
Food was really bad, went in for paranthas and samosa; both very bad. Pale stuffing in samosas and paranthas haf no filling at all. Regret not going to A&W or timhortons for morning breakfast!

Worst service. The front staff told us that dine in closes at 8 but they allowed everybody else even after 8.
Won’t go again for sure.
The staff is good .Service is quick but food is not as good as expected specially Kulcha . It is very thick . You can call it prantha not Amritsary kulcha . Its not even crispy and any taste of tandoor.
Samosa content didn’t have salt or any taste. But it was hot. Btw, they charged me $4 for one order of samosa when it says $3 for one order guys didn’t change price online.
