Despite being told no by 2 employees, Pure Kitchen has definitely changed their fries. Ill try to attach photos from previous meal. Yesterday they were boring frozen anemic fries, I would not have paid the extra for them. Also, this is the second time my bun on the Awesome burger was a bit stale. Used to be I couldn't say enough. Not sure I'll bother again.
We were happy to find this vegetarian spot so far from downtown, where there are many healthy options. We had the Fantastic Noodles Bowl, Radical Cauliflower Wings (half and half) with a side salad, and a Powerful Sandwich with Belle Poutine (upgrade instead of fries). The food was good, especially the Belle Poutine and the Fantastic Noodles Bowl, But the Radical Cauliflower Wings were drowned by the too sweet and somewhat greasy sauce. The side salad was beautiful, with microgreens on top. I also loved their Pure Kitchen-produced raspberry-hibiiscus kombucha. What really stood out here was the great service.
First time at the Kanata location. Food was pretty good and the ingredients were fresh. Service was excellent, but the server attire was a little questionable (hoodies, ripped jeans, sweat pants). It didn't really fit the vibe of the restaurant. Ambiance was very cute. Washrooms were pretty dirty (toilets and sink clean, but floor and baseboards need a really good scrub). Overall I would go back, but not order one of the bowls, probably a burger or wrap.
Such a great meal. The food was fantastic Ava's the server's suggestion on resolving an ingredient in my sandwich made it even better than expected.
Excellent service and food as always. Korean BBQ Cauliflower wings are a favourite of everyone. It would be nice to have a little more private dining experience where tables are not so lose together.
My experience at Pure Kitchen is always wonderful, the staff are so pleasant, the food is outstanding. I'm eat plant based and u do not have many options to eat out and Pure Kitchen provides me with a very good option. Thank you for always giving me a nice eating experience.
Wow!! Absolutely amazing vegan food. It's a little expensive, but well worth the price. During my overnight trip to Ottawa I ended up going there twice.
Amazing fresh and healthy and tasty vegan food that is so appreciated ❤️ The ambiance and service is always great too ☺️🌱
I had a terrible experience here and won't be coming back. I actually “like” Pure Kitchen- I think the food is really good and I like their menu. I have been to both the Kanata and Westboro location many times. I made a reservation for 2- no problem, arrived on time, went in, and followed the server to our table. I don't know if you are familiar with the layout of the Kanata location but it has 2 floors. The main floor is kind of open concept, lighting is a bit softer, small candles on each table, not bad for Valentines Day. What was really puzzling is the server walks us past the main floor- which I should point out was half empty- and takes us to the upstairs section. I had never been upstairs before but I thought it was awful- harsh fluorescent lights, kind of hazy- as you above the kitchen and all the smells and smoke was wafting up there, the tables didn't look as nice- the whole place looked kind of grimey. There is a plexiglass along the railing the overlooks the main floor- it looked cloudy and greasy, probably from all the kitchen smoke. The tables up there were way too close together. Upstairs was gross. What's worse- the server sat us at what had to be the worst table up there- cramped up against the railing, with a ceiling fan directly above us blowing down cold air. I looked around and asked if we could move to a better spot- there were still empty tables up there, and he said “No- those are reserved.” What??? “I” had a reservation too!!! I looked around at my wife, who is not pleased, so we grab our stuff and go downstairs. The server sees us and I tell him- we don't want to sit there, can we get another table. He again says “we are full of reservations” Again- the place was half empty- so I say “ I have a reservation- can't we sit down here at one of these tables?” He says no- rather rudely- so we just left. Horrible treatment. Seriously WTF??? Why would you do that? NEVER GO BACK. Drove to Westboro location- had a great dinner there!
Buffalo Cauliflower was excellent (crispy exterior), as was the Fantastic Bowl with noodles and peanut sauce. The flavours were very good, and lovely to be served food hot. Service was friendly and helpful.

The food is always incredibly tasty and the service is excellent. We love Pure Kitchen and will keep going back.
Great service for our party of 11 - lovely waitress. Highly recommend. Favourites were the fantastic bowl and the burger but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Dinner for 7, 2 vegans, 4 curious carnivores and 1 adamant meat eater... all completely delighted by the experience. Service was exellent, waitress was attentive, and helpful. One peanut allergy and our waitress double checked on whether the requested food item had peanuts.. it didn't, but she was astute enough to note that the food prep items were next to the peanuts on the food prep line. She recommended that the customer choose something else off the menu to be sure. Variously around the table we chose, the crunch wrap, the mystical burrito bowl, fantastic noodles cozy soup, radical cauliflower wings and divine dumplings. Everything was beautifully presented, deeply flavoured, and delicious. The adamant meat eater loved his crunch wrap and we all devoured the cauliflower wings. Strongly recommend this restaurant to the vegan crowd as well as well as adventurous diners and curious explorers. You will not be disappointed.
Vegan menu choices very appealing to both vegans and non-vegans. Dishes are flavourful and very satisfying, and the service is excellent. Reservations are easily made through the Pure Kitchen website.
Pure Kitchen is a fantastic spot for fresh, flavorful plant-based food! I tried the cauliflower wings and wrap with Kale Salad —everything was delicious and packed with flavor. Highly recommend!
