This is the first time I’m writing a review and only because the food was soo bad. I order grilled chicken and they gave me bland bread which was not even toasted on some pan. Let alone grill. The chicken said grilled. It was merely boiled. And the fries looked like they were swimming in some black oil. Only if I had -1 stars I’d give them that as well.

TLDR: Solid and affordable breakfast at this office building cafeteria, with surprisingly high ceilings and tall glass windows. Open to the public. My husband and I had breakfast here together on a day that we were both off from work. While it was not fancy, it was very affordable and tasted good. Queensview Cafe is located on the main floor of an office building. However, it's open to the public, you don't need to work in the building to access it. It is hidden away around the back of the building and is not visible from the street, so unless you're looking for it, you'll likely never just stumble upon it. Well, unless you actually work in the building or are going there for business. Anyway, y'all know I love those hidden spots! My husband had the full breakfast ($7.50) which came with 2 eggs, toast, home fries and your choice of meat (bacon, ham or sausage), and a large coffee ($2.50). I got a breakfast sandwich ($4.50). My sandwich came on a toasted English muffin and had bacon, egg and cheese in it. I forgot to say no butter on the bread, so it was generously buttered, which some may like, but I prefer my bread dry. It was too greasy for my liking, but that was on me. Otherwise, the sandwich was tasty. The bacon was crispy and the cheese was well melted. My husband liked his dish. He enjoyed the home fries which were crispy and nicely seasoned, although he noted they were a bit heavy-handed with the salt. I had a cube and I would agree. His bacon was also crispy. His eggs were over-hard like he requested. He has no complaints about his coffee. The place is very spacious and feels even bigger due to the high ceilings and tall glass windows. Very nice ambiance, especially for an office building cafeteria. It's open to the public, so you don't have to work in the building to access it (like you don't need a building pass or anything like that). Service was courteous. And when we left they thanked us for supporting their business. Their hours are limited. They aren't open weekends or evenings, so their target demographic really is the office building workers. They sell lunch as well and have items like burgers, fries, soup and sandwiches with also reasonable prices. I regret not knowing about this place when I worked in the area. Free parking is available in the office building parking lot. (30)

I recently attended the Annual General Meeting for the Egyptian Canadian Cultural Association of Ottawa ECCAO at Queensview Cafe, and it was truly an amazing event. The cafe organized the hall seating impeccably and even provided a projector and screen for the meeting presentation, which was incredibly convenient. Not only that, but the quality of the snacks provided for the attendees was top-notch, and all at a very reasonable price. The management and staff at Queensview Cafe were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making everyone feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the event.Overall, our group had a fantastic experience at Queensview Cafe and we are already planning to hold future events at this wonderful establishment. I highly recommend Queensview Cafe for any gatherings or meetings - you won't be disappointed!

It's a classic dinner, with attentive staff and a small but delicious menu. I was in the area and stopped in; in the future, I'll make the detour to be certain to be there to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommended.

We went there for breakfast and there was a large private meeting going on with no sign on the door. Very embarrassing to walk into a ladies meeting in progress. Doubt if we would go back.

We enjoyed incredible tastes with tabbouleh, kafta and chicken and beef kabobs with a nice hummus. So many flavors and all very well prepared. Can't beat the food at this cafe.
