I used to dine here before covid and really enjoyed it. It was a fun place to go and the salad bar was a good experience with lots of variety. Sadly with covid they had to close the salad bar and the quality of the food has gone downhill as well. I understand it is hard to find workers to work, but the food was not as good as it used to be. The waiter was really nice though. The chicken leg I had was dry and seemed overcooked. The mashed potatoes were not mixed properly so there were powder chunks. The buns have gotten smaller than before and it was burnt. The waiter brought us new buns and some extra which was nice. The environment is very sad now because it is not as busy or fun as it used to be. I don't think I can go back anymore but I do wish this place the best because I used to really enjoy it.
I’m surprised at some of the other reviews, I’ve gone there several times in the last year since they’ve reopened and it’s been very good. The burgers, ribs, chicken, club sandwiches, entrees and deserts were all great! The waitress and waiters are all so friendly and go out of their way to do the extra. The salad bar will be nice to get back but otherwise, happy to be able to eat out again!Martine
Not impressed at all! We drove all the way to the trainyard location from Barrhaven just to find out that they were closed. They didn't even bother updating google to let their customers know that they are closed! Will not be going back!
Had a 40th Birthday Party for my brother way back, at their restaurant at Train Yard station in Ottawa. Salad bar was part of our choices of meal. Had a good time Celebrating my brother.Frequent time ate at their location in Gatineau, PQ on Maloney Boulevard located close to my sister.Called the Ottawa location last week and they are just starting to be open due to covid-19 capacity restrictions by now capacity will be way better to re-serve people again. Cooks are back in the kitchen. So next time I'm in Ottawa I may stop for lunch.
Maybe I just have some seriously bad luck, but the last 3 or 4 times we've tried to come they've ended up being closed. If you are not going to be open, make sure it says that on Google or your website so people don't bother wasting gas and time. I advise anyone wanting to go to call ahead and make sure they are open. I was really looking forward to coming here for my birthday, finally being able to come back since the pandemic began, but nope I'm out of luck again, thanks.
French onion soup was ok for taste but cheese was not baked past melting. Was almost processed in texture and hard to cut and swallow. Would have been better crisped/broiled a bit to get that golden bake and easier to eat. Wrap was delicious. Service was good.
Used to love this but sadly its gone downhill, no beers on tap, no wine bottles only the house wine. Frozen vegetables were bad, it was taken care of but still. Its not like before
ordered 2 bloody Caesars which tasted like a soup
This was my second time to Scores. The food was fine, but portion sizes were small. Presentation was absent. My kids meals had more fries then what my wife and I had our plate. Fish and chips was only one small price. I didn't particularly like the battered crust of the fish... Very thin and hard. When I mentioned to the server about the portion sizes he cited inflation costs... Second visit and likely last.
Food was really good. They accommodated my vegan diet, so that was appreciated. Kids really enjoyed their meals too. The waiter was great. Really attentive.

It was our first time at scores and it won't be our last! Was very impressed with the cleanliness and service and the meal was fantastic!
Was very disappointed with our order tonight We ordered Uber eats and when the food arrived the ribs were good and hot but the fries and onion rings were cold and looked like only half an order ?
Great place for our office xmas party food good as usual
Place was very clean. With the COVID rules there was a lot of space between tables. The servers all are wearing masks. You don't need to make a reservation at the Ottawa Trainyards location. Possibly a reservation is recommended at other locations. Unfortunately, but obviously, due to this pandemic, no buffet was available, but the meal was fabulous with extra vegetables instead and small salad on the side It definitely was very filling without an extra salad from a buffet.Noticed there was a take out also available. We have been to this location before and their high standard of restaurant cleanliness, even in the washrooms, has been well maintained.
Server had to accommodate me because of medication. Food came just in time when I was able to eat. It was hot, tasty a pleasure to the eyes. I had the wrap and my daughter had ribs and chicken finger combo. Great service and good hot food. Special thk to my server.
