A very cool and funky atmosphere - different than the usual, which was nice. We visited on a Friday evening and had a great time. We were seated downstairs, where there are no windows and lighting is dim, so the feel was very cozy and rabbit hole-esque. Our server was friendly, and the food was delicious. It can get quite loud if you're seated by the bar, but everyone was enjoying their time so we didn't really mind. The service was quick, and prices were not unreasonable. I would definitely recommend the visit.

Was told the wait for this restaurant was 15 minutes to an hour. We waited an hour and went to the bar and asked how the wait was. The host said there was no tables and would call us when one would open up. We were told we would receive a table when one opened. We went somewhere to wait and it’s now been 3 hours, and we have not received a call. It’s our first time in Ottawa and we were all very excited to go! It’s very disrespectful to tell customers that they will have a table and never call them. If you don’t have room for a table and just say it so we don’t wait around all night.

The service was HORRIBLE one of the female waitress was rude she gave me attitude because I was asking for water and napkins the places was so hot! There’s not point of spending money and have horrible service I really don’t recommend people to visit the place.

The food was good and drinks were ok in general but that’s not why I’m rating one star . I don’t usually review but the service was so bad that I had to: - We got seated at a table and we never knew who our server was - We had to ask multiple people just to come get our order - We ordered the oysters that should’ve came with hot sauces but when the order came it didn’t include it, so we had to go to the sever and ask for it and when he came back he gave us a giant trey that includes only 2 sauces, which clearly was too big for our table, but the server didn’t bother or care to make sure the table fits it so we had to put it on the ground - When we wanted to order extra drinks, similar thing again we had to ask multiple people a few times just for someone to get our order - lastly even when we ordered the check we had to ask multiple different people for it
At the end for the prices, this type of service is completely unacceptable we felt ignored the entire night considering the place was half full and when a server came to ask us eventually they made us feel like they’re doing us a favour.

Arrived at an empty restaurant and was told they were full of reservations. We said they could kick us out early, we just wanted drinks. They said no. Servers do not seem like the brightest bunch.
Was a great experience would 1000% go again. The food was fantastic, the pizza though, to die for. And I'm not a huge pizza fan. We really drew the short stick with the server though. She was absolutely awful. 45 minutes to get a single drink, and then they never came together, and when asked, she got snippy. But maybe she was having a bad day or wasn't experienced. Either way, we didn't let it cloud our experience, and everything else was amazing. If you're looking for a nice place to go, this is it. They have dancing later in the evening, and the crowd is pretty great. Younger, but still fun, and not rowdy, or rambunctious. Don't try to get a glass of wine after 930 pm. Apparently, they don't pour wine after that hour. All in all, I give it a solid 9/10. If we had a different server and wine after 930, it would be a 10.

We had an amazing time at the Rabbit Hole. Ellie went above and beyond setting us up for a wonderful anniversary dinner. Gent was outstanding providing great conversation and excellent service. Food was perfect. I recommend this to anyone for the great atmosphere, food, drink, and service. A wonderful place.
