This place held promise, the menu choice was reasonable. I selected the Scollop and Lobster Risotto. The 3 scollops were delicious, there were a few lobster pieces in the risotto which regrettably was just too salty. When mentioned to the server he belittled me, not professional at all.
Others with me enjoyed their meals. Worth a try but suggest staying clear of the risotto as not worth it for the price point.
Nice spot with a cozy, lively atmosphere definitely a popular place, so I’d recommend booking in advance. Service was okay; nothing to complain about, but nothing particularly memorable either.
I asked the waiter for a recommendation between the lamb shank and the boeuf bourguignon, and he said both were good. I went with the lamb shank. The portion was generous, but taste-wise it was just okay not especially memorable considering the price point.
Surprisingly, the sides stole the show. The dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables were absolutely delicious and ended up being the highlight of the plate.
Overall, Ratatouille is worth visiting for the ambiance and sides, but if you're going for the lamb, you might want to consider trying something else on the menu.
This place has the best brunch hands down. Large portions, lots of variety, even the coffee is amazing. The salad that comes with mains at brunch is so good and loaded. Service is great and quick, we were in and out on a Saturday in less than an hour. My favourite is the crab cake eggs benny.
Food is excellent!! Nice atmosphere, staff well-trained, good location. Highly recommend!
Went to this place while visiting Ottawa for weekend and it was incredibly good. I tried the crab cake benedict which was just perfect and it was extremely filling.
The crispy potatoes are a great side and a must try!
A gem in Ottawa that produces spectacular French dishes!! We had our wedding anniversary dinner here and were amazed by the flavor and presentation of all dishes we ordered: from appertizer to dessert. Raiden, in particular, was super friendly and provided great service as our server. When he knew we were celebrating, he even went an extra mile and did something special for us. Strongly recommend this restaurant!!
Loved the food :and staff but maybe up the coziness factor - overall great place to eat
Nice little bistro in the Byward market area. Food and service is quite good. It's a very popular place and gets pretty noisy. Overall I certainly recommend 👌
Food, vibes & service were absolutely perfect, I highly recommend trying the Carmel dessert & ask Conner for all your help on wine pairings!
Had a wonderful meal with friends while visiting Ottowa for the tulip festival this past weekend.
Delicious meal and very friendly staff. Wives both ordered the vegetable Wellington which was excellent! Our husbands had the goat curry and lamb ragu which were also delicious.
Loved the eclectic menu offerings. Thanks for a memorable dinner!
