Amazing place for fish and seafood. Love the way they cook everything. You pick your fish and the way to cook it. Their salad is also very good. Don’t expect a fancy place but it is so worth it.

Best seafood place in all of Ottawa! Love their wedges, calamari, octopus, and scallops. Prices are higher than before (expected) but the food is so good you can't stop going!

Rayan Poissonnerie in Orleans is a fantastic spot. The atmosphere was great – lively and relaxed at the same time. I had a really delicious meal; everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The service was also top-notch; our server was friendly and attentive. And the prices were really reasonable, especially for the quality. Honestly, I can't recommend Rayan Poissonnerie enough if you're looking for a great dining experience. Five stars from me!

I feel bad writing this review, I personally know how difficult the restaurant industry can crazy, however, we moved from Orleans in summer 2024 and before we did, we used to eat their cod fish and chips at least once a week, either eating in or picking up... when we go back in town for errands, this is usually our go to meal for lunch... today the fish was undercooked, we did mention it, they did offer to redo our plates... this was not sushi... this was completely uncooked, raw fish...I was so disgusted I did not want to replace my plate, I would not have eaten it...I ate the shrimps, salad and potatoes... once we headed to pay, they did not offer any compensation other than a free drink...my husband and I did not want any pop nor bottle of water 🫣 it's unfortunate...we will never go back 😠

Been going since I was young it is perfect for birthday dinners and the food is great

The food was good. Calamari was really big portion size.
For the service wasnt really friendly even though she asked was our first time. Only told us to go up and order. Didnt really provide more information how it worked.
When we got to counter picked few seafood they weight them. Please make sure to pay attention the weight and price of your dishes you got.
When we asked for the receipt he wouldn't show us it. Which seem kinda of suspicious why you would not show us the breakdown what we ordered and total until after we paid or you trying to overcharge us?
Also they charge you 3% credit card fee on the receipt as well.

We went to this restaurant as a family of Six. This was our second visit and it wasn't bad from the first step into this place. We tried almost everything they have in their fridge and we liked the way they turn them into fried or grilled platters. And the waitress was checking on us multiple times to ensure that everything was good. Until we met the person who was cashing us out, he was not the friendlier individual you could meet, but I just swallowed it just not to ruin family gathering. But overall the experience, service and food are great and will definitely visit them again.
